Holiday rentals with a kayak in Liberty

Enjoyed a wonderful weekend here with our family (5 adults, 1 child, 1 dog). The house is very comfortable & beautifully updated/decorated. The setting is even better in person than we were expecting with an expansive lawn perfect for playing games. We had read other reviews about the neighbors having free roaming pet rabbits and saw them quite a bit. Fortunately our dog is a good listener and left them alone but could prove challenging for other dogs depending on their temperament. The lake was gorgeous and the location within one of the coves felt quiet and private while offering easy access to the rest of the lake via boat, kayak, etc. Enjoyed sitting on the dock & picnic table by the waters edge. Appreciated all the kayaks, games, toiletries & kitchen items provided as well as the large deck with grill & the firepit with chairs. Conveniently close to the boat launch, grocery store, restaurants, gas station, etc. if you need to run out for anything. Thanks for a great stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful and quiet time of rest at The Rising Tides. The setting is absolutely serene. It’s very secluded and quiet, the perfect place for a week of rest and relaxation. We went hiking on the Cliff Trail (15 minutes away and a very nice hiking trail), watched the sunrise at the Lands End store on Bailey island (15-20 minutes), and kayaked in the cove. The grill was very nice and we enjoyed cooking on it regularly. The place was very clean and ready on our arrival. The host communicated very clearly. You will need to follow her driving directions as they are very clear and helpful. In our four days there we only saw 1 neighbor - and that was as we were leaving on the weekend. There’s a grocery store only 15 minutes away and we were able to stock up on our way there. Really, this was one of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed. We really enjoyed having a few options of things to do while also being able to just do nothing on our vacation in a quiet place.

My family loved our stay! The house was beautiful, peaceful, and right by the lake. There was lots to do at the with all the kayaks, canoes, paddle boards available to explore the lake. We spent a couple of days exploring Acadia, but enjoyed just staying at the house enjoying the scenario. James was also a very responsive host.

We had an amazing time. TJ was very responsive and gave his secrets for fishing! He also accommodated a request that was an overlook on my part. I can’t say enough good things about the place itself or how nice TJ was. It was a phenomenal experience all around!

This was my 5th time going there and I love it! The house is so cozy & very clean. The property is large and the view is breathtaking over looking the river. They are also pet friendly so we were able to take our Lhasa Apso Revy on vacation with us. Besides how great this Air BnB is, my favorite is the hosts Kent & Tish! They are wonderful people. They are kind & friendly, & have such beautiful souls. They have become family to me! I highly recommend getting this air bnb!! Thank you again Tish & Kent! My wife and I completely enjoyed our stay at Ani’s place. She literally thought of everything any guest could ever want. Beautiful surroundings…walking distance to the Fish Ladder….a couple of miles to all the restaurants downtown. And the place itself is immaculate. The kitchen was perfect for eating in every night. This place is an absolute no-brainer to rent and we can’t wait to return!!!

Great place out in the country! Beautiful view of the meadow from the bedrooms. Spacious living area with plenty of space for cots or sleeping bags. Really liked the pkace and location!!

The location was perfect for our trip. The house it self was extremely clean and lots of space for us to hang out and also have our space. Close to Acadia which we visited Saturday and the house was a great distance to enjoy the day without staying in town! The amenities were in great condition and everything in the listing was there. I would definitely stay again.

Hillary was very responsive to all the emails I sent. She was friendly and helpful with questions I had. The cabin was well furnished and the kitchen was well equipped with modern appliances. If I was ever in the area in the future, I would love to stay here again.

Robert was an incredibly responsive, kind and proactive host. The space is exactly as described, comfortable and Robert has thought of everything. The surroundings are amazing, we loved listening to the loons, watching the chipmunks & even got a glimpse of a beaver one morning. Kayaking was great, with the equipment and dock easy to access and use. We visited Acadia and loved having such a quiet respite after long days exploring the beautiful area. Highly recommend staying here, already thinking about our next trip back!

Alana's home was more than we expected. The home was spotless and well equipped for our quick stay. She is very accommodating and responds to questions immediately. We would definitely stay again if we're in her area.

Mischele really thinks of a traveler when she sets up her place! The extra touch of orange juice, creamer, coffee, freshly baked breakfast is great! Everything is there. Convenient to many great restaurants.

Loved our time here! It’s about a 40 minute drive from Portland and then 5-10 from Brunswick. The neighborhood is quiet and perfect, exactly what we needed to relax! We loved coming back from Portland and grabbing dinner and gelato in Brunswick, such a nice way to unwind from a long day. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again :)

Two things stood out to us: Tim and Melissa were fantastic hosts. Responsive, flexible, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. If anything, they kind of undersell the lakeshore. Beautiful, peaceful, and a large area. We were here too early in the season to take full advantage, but this must be heaven in the summer. Hope to come back during kayaking season.

What a beautiful location! David is a great host. He made sure we had good directions, tips for the area, and was quick to answer any questions. The lakeside cabin has absolutely everything you need to have a peaceful, relaxing vacation. The view of the lake is spectacular. The cabin is very clean, has a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and Echo lake is a gorgeous pristine lake. Every morning, we enjoyed our coffee on the dock. We swam, kayaked, canoed and even tried out the paddle boards that came with the house. We would love to come back! Thanks!

After getting things clean we enjoyed 28 days was not good weather went back to take care of our mothers things was good to have this place to come relax in would rent again even tho it wasn’t cleaned they tried to make things right loved the cabin

We have stayed at Jackies place twice now and enjoyed it just as much this time as the last. Even though it rained for two days the house is plenty big enough to spread out. We had to change our reservation days twice because of circumstances and Jackie was very accomidating..

What a wonderful spot! Gorgeous, quiet pond and relaxing wood fired sauna. Rheanna is a super responsive and helpful host. We'll be back! Just FYI - this cabin is a "three season" structure. Although it was super comfortable, it felt a little more like camping than we originally expected with some cool nights and mornings, a few insect frinds, and a short walk to the shared bathrooms and kitchen area.

Christine is a seriously helpful and attentive host! The property was as described and the house was SPOTLESS!! Although we only had 5 people with us, the space definitely could hold double that! We will be sure to book again when we are up visiting family again!

This is a favorite place for me and my family to stay. The lake and home is beautiful and everything you want at a lake house! We have stayed here before and will continue staying at this lake retreat! Really our favorite lake house to visit!

My mother and I stayed here for a peaceful weekend and a nearby wedding. As lifelong Mainers, we were looking for a rustic camp on the water with a screened porch, and this place delivered. We spent our time reading, napping, walking, and even doing a little work (the internet was surprisingly fast). It was so nice that we could include our small dog with us as well. While the camp has a rustic charm, it’s thoughtfully outfitted with modern comforts: comfy beds, quality linens, a smart TV, reliable Wi-Fi, and a well-stocked kitchen. The hosts even provided extras most don’t—like paper goods, baggies, matches, and toiletries—and were nearby if anything was needed. They even included shower essentials if you happened to forget any. The sunrise was spectacular from the front porch. Loons swam by daily. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and wish we could have extended it---we would definitely book again! Thank you for being amazing hosts!

We had the most wonderful stay! We spent a week, celebrating our 15th anniversary, soaking in the views, enjoying the wild life and cozying up at the camp fire, enjoying one another’s company. The cabin was clean, stocked with necessities and perfectly decorated. The bed was comfortable and all the linens were clean, with very comfy pillows too! Lots of games were provided, and the view from the living room is stunning. You look right out onto the pond. We had some wildlife visit us, and a chipmunk we made friends with. Look for his little house entrance by the fire pit! He also loved perching on the cairns to watch us Explore the property and find some little hidden gems of beauty The locals were super friendly, Jon was very accommodating and responsive. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience Thank you so much. We are looking forward to visiting again!!
