The stay was partly vacation, partly due to family reasons. The place feels like a little oasis of peace. You live right on the center of the city of Aachen, but have a place in the middle of the countryside. It is pleasantly quiet after you enter the house. The village of Vaals is a beautiful small village, which you also like to explore on foot. The warm atmosphere due to the wooden beams in the stone network of the guest house is not seen in the photos, also not the matching furnishings. Most importantly, however, is the pleasant friendly contact with the family. You can quickly ask a question about any issues and get an answer. But also just enjoy your peace in the garden if you are exhausted after experiences of local attractions. My children traveling with them wanted to continue their vacation.

Really pleasant place to stay - so peaceful but everything you need closebye. The accomodation was bright, clean and spacious. Lots of nice little touches such as towels provided, tea and coffee so didn't have to shop immediately, books, games and lots of local information. A small outside space but private and nice to sit out. I was serenaded everyday by a song thrush!

Beautiful and quiet stay with lots of privacy. Ideal starting point for cycling and walking tours. Close to Maastricht for a shop and shopping need. The stay was super clean and cleanly furnished. The beds were very good. In short, it is highly recommended for peace seekers

This BnB is in a quiet location between Maastricht and Valkenburg, next to a nice narrow road with a cycle path. Parking right in front of the house, entrance to the yard through a separate gate. The house is nicely furnished, has its own gas boiler/ketel and air conditioning, a kitchenette with appliances including a stove, oven, dishwasher and coffee maker. It can be seen that the equipment has already suffered minor damage from previous visitors, but nothing that would prevent normal use. The owners are very kind and helpful. If you are looking for a BnB in this location, this could be a good choice.

What a nice man Gé is. I felt very welcome and we had a nice conversation about teaching, work and music. I was very pleased with the location and the interior. Built and furnished with care and attention.

Had a lovely stay here. The space was as shown on the photos and very private. The ac was nice throughout my stay, and there was a place to grab food within walking distance. Parking nearby was plentiful and convenient.

We stayed one night at Astrids accomodation (2 audults, one Dog). The Double bed was comfortable and it was only 10 Minutes Drive to Roermond Centre. There is a fridge in the room which is a bit noisy, but we just turned it off in the night.

We really had a perfect stay! Wonderful stay, really lack nothing. Very fine beds, fan and an extensive kitchen with everything you need. Super friendly host, we could both put the cars in the driveway and the host responded almost immediately to questions. Also had good contact in advance. All in all, had a very enjoyable stay!

What a wonderful stay! The cottage was taken care of to the last detail and equipped with every comfort, really a place where you immediately feel at home. Everything was clean, tastefully decorated and perfectly equipped for a relaxing stay. Host Remko deserves a special mention: very friendly, attentive and easily accessible. If we had a question, he responded almost immediately and was immediately there for us. His hospitality made our stay extra enjoyable. The area is really beautiful. Ideal for those who love hiking and cycling, with countless routes through forests, past fields and charming villages. There are also nice sights to discover nearby, which makes this a perfect base. In short: absolutely recommended.

The studio is very nicely decorated and super clean. However, the highlight is the garden with pool and hot tub. The seating options have a great view of the water. Rob and Brigitte are very nice and hospitable people. We would go back anytime.
