This was a perfect stay close to Houlton, and was clean, and everyone was friendly! Check-in was easy. The town is simple but has a few stores for picking up last minute groceries and Cindy’s was a perfect diner for breakfast! Perfect stay!

I stayed in a shared bathroom room and it was great! It’s a nice inn with easy check-in, clean rooms and local stores for restocking for your trip. Totally recommend …

Room was comfortable after a long day of hiking, and just off the highway on my way home. Super convenient, and great value.

What a great place! Walking distance to everything so we didn't have to worry about parking. Clean, comfortable room with everything we needed. Breakfast included fresh omelets made to order by Annie. She was wonderful and started our day right! The hot tub was pleasant and the welcome glass of wine was appreciated. We hope to come stay again!

Meeting Leslie and staying/ dining in her Ironbound Restaurant & Inn was a highlight of our trip to Maine. We arrived a few hours before the dinner and Leslie introduced us a nice walk nearby to the ocean side before we had dinner at the restaurant. The room was clean and well decorated, full of Leslie’s personal touch that shows her great art taste. In the room we also found a print out of her great tips about exploring the Acadia area that you can hardly get elsewhere. Super great experience and I highly recommend!

Beautiful house from the 1800's with lovely common sitting area with big windows. Mark and Tina have a great eye for detail and take very good care of their home. Delicious breakfasts were served in communal room looking out to the back gardens. I'd recommend their B&B to anyone for an experience of comfort and being well taken care of.

We stayed in a recently redone room and was very pleased with the room and accommodations. Will stay again when in the area.

The apartment worked very well for us. It was clean and comfortable. Being associated with the hotel was nice for coffee in the morning and access to the 24 hour gift shop. It is a couple of flights of stairs down with no elevator which might not work for all. Would definitely recommend.

Great place to stay for Acadia NP. It’s minutes from the park, has parking, good wifi, and necessary amenities (hot tea and coffee, gym, 24/7 front desk). Our room had a balcony with great view of the coast and islands. The only thing I’d call out, which is similar to other reviews, is that the furniture is a bit outdated. Kinda has a bit of a musty smell / situation to it. Other than that, we loved it!

Had a wonderful sleep and found the bed super comfy.

I have been to many AirBnBs and this is one of the nicest I've ever stayed at, the room was extremely spacious and includes a fridge, the kitchen is stocked with every tool you need to prepare dinner, bathroom was spotless and there is plenty of parking space. Host Brigitte was very responsive, both on-line and in person

I initially booked the first floor of the building but they stated that I was upgraded to the third when checking in. It was worth it since the view from the balcony is absolutely gorgeous! It was impossible to not give this stay five stars especially for that reason. They gave me clear instructions on how to get to the room and an overview of all the amenities around the area. Staff were friendly in general too. Would stay again!

We cannot say enough good things about the Blue Nose Inn. Spectacular scenery, great accommodations, location!!, not to mention the piano bar.

I had a great stay! The room was excellent, clean and fresh! The bed was very comfortable and the house is beautiful. Recommend it to everyone!

Great place to stay while visiting Acadia National Park. We enjoyed many of the local restaurants. Location was continent and very reasonably priced. Kristan was helpful and responsive. We enjoyed our stay and would come back!

This is s classic motel. microwave and fridge in room. access to the room is via code. Did not see the host during our stay, but he was responsive to our questions before we arrived.

We would absolutely stay again! The record player in the room is a great touch and everything you need is conveniently in the room. Alex is a great host and very welcoming!

What a gem of a place - thanks to the time, attention and care of Alex, his wife and their staff! We would definitely choose to return for a longer stay next time we are in the area.  The property is immaculate, both indoors and out. Cabin #16 is well appointed with thoughtful touches - comfortable bedding and furniture throughout, beautiful nature-centric coffee table books for a quiet evening learning more about Maine, and a sparkling bathroom with quality soaps and towels. We commented several times on the cute details and the cleanliness of the cabin which made our stay so cozy and enjoyable. Cabin #16 was perfect for our group of 3 adults. Beautiful ocean view at the front and great access to many miles of walking trails out back!  A few minutes drive to downtown Belfast, plus wonderfully situated to many great towns nearby. Do yourself a favor and book a cozy cabin stay, you won't regret it!

Great place to stay for my quick trip to Acadia. Only a 30 minutes drive to get to the park and Bar Harbor, especially if you want a simpler option but still close enough to everything. Very easy to find and exactly like the photos. Off a main road but still very quiet and the bed was very cozy.

Kristan’s Homestead stay was perfect for our needs for our trip to Acadia! We came from VT and it was a huge relief to check into a room that was IMMACULATE from top to bottom after such a long day of driving. The room had a Keurig with some coffee and sugars set out, a microwave, and a fridge with a freezer. The air conditioning worked well and kept us cool during the hot and muggy rainy weather we had while visiting. The bathroom was very clean! We purchased a cheap single slice toaster from the local Walmart so we could toast bagels in the am and all the outlets worked fine. The only small area of improvement I’d bring attention to is the shower. The shower head setting knob did not change the output of water so it was a very weak trickle in a small space. If it were a handheld shower head, it would have made everything a bit easier in the small space even with the low water pressure. Aside from that, this is the only minor thing I can think of. Great stay overall!! :)
