The Ancient Baglio - Dammuso 'Il Gelso'

The Antico Baglio (“U Bagghiu” in Sicilian) is the only building of its kind in Pantelleria and dates back to around 1700. It is located in the Sesi archaeological area, 400 meters as the crow flies from the coast, 9 minutes from the town of Pantelleria and 14 minutes from the airport. It is made up of four independent Dammusi which can be accessed from the beautiful internal patio. A place of relaxation, in which you can enjoy a timeless atmosphere with typical Mediterranean rhythms and scents!

Here's the ideal solution for a dream vacation. Francesco's dammuso gave our family a special experience on the island of Pantelleria. The house is located in the middle of the vineyards and from the panoramic roofed terrace we enjoyed the view for breakfast and dinner. A beautiful decorative garden. A convenient outdoor shower. The functional and well-kept interior is always fresh. We slept very well. I would say it is a perfect place for those who love nature and tranquility. We fell in love and if we were to return to the island, we would come back here. Francesco gave us a lot of useful information and was flexible with the checkout, which we really appreciated. Our children really enjoyed the house and had the opportunity to explore and play. See you soon and thank you

Staying at this remote house in Pantelleria was an unforgettable experience. Surrounded by a serene forest, the property offers absolute peace and a deep connection with nature. The house itself is beautifully integrated into its environment, providing all the comforts needed for a relaxing stay. The other real treasure is the nearby lake—a 5 minute drive reveals an idyllic spot for swimming. The water was clear and inviting, and we often had the entire lake more or less to ourselves. This place is perfect for anyone seeking solitude and natural beauty. It's a true escape, and I’m already planning my next visit.

Simona’s property is located in an unbelievable awesome spot of the island of Pantelleria, not the usual Dammuso typical of the island, a modern charming variant . Pantelleria is a full relaxing , recharging and chillout place, The view from any point of the property is insanely gorgeous. For the lovers of sunrise view this place its a little nest in heaven! Simona was extremely helpful and Pino her caretaker was extremely kind and always ready to help us. Definitely an added value to the whole package. If back to the East side of the island we will definitely take Simona’s house in consideration

Very pleasant stay in Amico's dammuso and flexible check-in coordinated by Carola. Truly wonderful location in the countryside around Sibà with truly breathtaking views, as you can see in the photos. Access road a little uncomfortable but in the norm of Pantelleria. I'd go back, recommended.

A jewel The dammuso of Annalisa is a wonderful jewel immersed in the Pantesque countryside that does not lack a wonderful sea view. Silence and privacy a stone's throw from the airport and a few minutes from the port for those arriving with the ship like us. The dammuso fully met all our expectations, characteristic, comfortable, clean and with attention to detail, but I believe that its most beautiful pearl is the pantesque garden usable from the inside of the house enriched with a barbecue, sink and a nicelem tree. Thank you Annalisa for welcoming us with kindness and kindness. Always available, you made us feel at home. Beautiful experience. Ilenia and Antonio
