Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in Loch Linnhe

Me and my parents booked this place for a night on the way to isle of skye and had the most amazing experience. The airbnb itself was way bigger than expected and was extremely clean. And then the grounds around it were even nicer. I was initially drawn in by the pool but we ended up spending the whole night in the billiard room that’s in the old refractory. The staff at the club is super nice and gives you a tour explaining all the history of the place while showing you to the room. Fort Augustus is also a really cute town to explore. overall the best place I’ve stayed so far in Scotland!!

What a magical place to spend time relaxing! The abbey and apartments are stunning. With lounge windows facing Loch Ness, a large bathroom with a claw foot bath, a substantial master bedroom and separate twin room, it really was a home from home. Fort Augustus is centrally located, and a beautiful little village. We hired a car and travelled extensively through the Highlands. Glencoe is around an hour away, Ben Nevis around 45 minutes, Inverness around 40 minutes, and Balmoral Castle was 2.5 hours away with a spectacular drive through the Cairngorms. I absolutely recommend staying here as your base. You will not regret it. The only thing I would caution is the apartment is on the top floor. This means climbing 6 flights of stairs. There is no lift, so bear this in mind if you have anyone with mobility issues travelling with you. Jonathan, the host, is fantastic in all his communication. Nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely be coming back!

A nice place to stay.Clean and nice room with en suite.I did not eat out very much and made use of the very good kitchen which jaf fridge freezer,microwave together woth full elecric cooker.I booked with Air B nB and unfortunately I had to duplicate passport details,sent a photo of myself and then take my passport for verification.All of this should have been provided by Air BnB.I was told I had to be vetted.Why was this necessary.This enlonged procedure would put a lot of people of staying.I have stayed at many place which have been student accommodation and have never had to deal with such unnessary duplication of information.I would add all members of staff I spoke to were pleasant and helful.

Lovely place with a tesco express nearby. However, hairdryer and kettle wasn't provided so do keep that in mind when packing. The induction cooker also wasn't working and we weren't sure if it came with the studio so we warmed up our water using the microwave. Overall, would definitely recommend to all students looking for a budget-friendly place to stay!

This was a great place to stay. The setting within the Highland Club is great. There is plenty of free parking and it is within a very short walk of the village and the local amenities. There were plenty of places to eat or to grab a takeaway (we would highly recommend the reasonably priced Chinese). The Loch Ness tourist boat was at the end of the drive. The flat itself was immaculately clean and tidy and Liz herself was a great host. She kindly left some shortbread for us on arrival and when we had a small issue on leaving due to a village-wide power cut she came to help us within minutes. We did not use the other on-site facilities such as the swimming pool. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

We met Joy outside the building after arriving earlier than anticipated! She was so helpful with checking in and organising our room. The room was perfect, everything you need for a stay in Glasgow! Comfortable, great bathroom! Would 100% stay again!

Beautiful location, the property was lovely in a stunning location. My only complaint would be the uncomfortable dining chairs.

A nice place to stay in central Glasgow would definitely stay again

We headed to Adriana’s apartment for a week over the New Year period. The apartment is lovely, very clean and has everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The apartment is very spacious with big rooms and 3 bathrooms. Lots of space in the living area to unroll my yoga mat and look out the balcony window and straight out onto Loch Lomond and surrounding hills. Even on the dreichest of days it looked magical. The apartment is part of the Cameron House Resort. We dined in the apartment mostly but enjoyed the numerous walks around the apartment and the hotel. The Boathouse is a lovely spot for a coffee and to watch the seaplane , the annual charity waterski took place on the 1st and we enjoyed watching this , the 1st was a an unexpected spring like day. Warm, bluebird skies and sunny. Staying at the apartment allows guests to use the pool facilities at the hotel and the Carrick spa. We only used the latter. Having been lucky enough to have visited many 5* hotels with spas - I would hand on my heart put this one as my favourite. I loved it so much i used it twice a day. Once at 9am and again around 3pm. There is so much to do. Swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, aroma room, chill out room, thermal experience, roof top jacuzzi , infra red room, chill out zones… and on & on. Just perfect and was the highlight of the trip for me. I understand that Adriana uses these weeks usually for herself and family. We felt extremely lucky that she opened up this week and we were able to go. Will be keeping our eyes on this listing for next year !

This place is so amazing with Loch Ness and so cool Abbey. Beautiful environment. Feeling Harry Potter life.

Had a great time staying with Brian, everything from the accommodations to the room. Nice and quiet and super helpful. Would recommend anyone looking to stay.

Martin was a great host! We were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of Prosecco and a box of delicious cookies upon our arrival! Martin graciously granted us a late checkout, too, which helped a lot with our schedule. The location of the flat was perfect for us. I would highly recommend this host and this flat to others!

We had a fabulous stay! Gorgeous flat, fully stocked kitchen. The grounds and public places of the Highland Club were amazing. We enjoyed sitting by peaceful Loch Ness in the evenings, as well as the easy walk into town for shops and restaurants. Highly recommend, and would stay again!

We had great few days in Cameron‘s house. You get what you see on the photos. Cameron was a perfect host with lots of recommendations for activities.

It was outstanding experience, me and my family like it, we have spend 4 nights and it went very fast, we felt like at home. Host is very kind, friendly and helpful. For sure it will be repeated and will recommend family and friends.

Our stay at Pinematen Lodge in Portnellan was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the peaceful atmosphere that enveloped the property, offering a truly serene escape. The location is simply incredible, boasting outstanding views from both the lodge itself and the spacious balcony. We spent many happy hours just soaking in the scenery. The accommodation was outstanding. Every detail seemed to have been carefully considered, making for a comfortable and luxurious experience. On top of all this, Cameron was a fantastic host – friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. We would definitely come back again to Portnellan. It's the perfect spot for anyone looking for tranquility, breathtaking views, and top-tier comfort.

We loved the house and Drymen. The added bonus of the use of the pool, sauna and jacuzzi was brilliant. The house was comfortable and homely. Drymen was a lovely little village with lovely pubs, cafes and walks. Along the road there was a beautiful view out over Loch Lomond. I would really recommend. Jim was super helpful and let us in a little bit early, thank you so much.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Sona House, which is very stylish, comfortable and well-equipped. The location, fresh flowers throughout the house and the sight and sounds of the attractive stream at the back were all great. I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Glasgow. The hosts were very friendly and discreet. The accommodation itself was easily accessible and very clean. The neighborhood was both pleasant and quiet. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and serene stay in Glasgow.
