Eller eit opphold litt nærare naturen. Vårstølen på Nærestad ligg skjerma, eit steinkast over vegen. Den eldste delen av selet er av ukjent alder, truleg slutten av 1800-tallet. Selet blei totalrenovert i 2023-2024. Ny utedo sett opp i 2024. Med ein kort gåtur, får du tilgang til båt som kan nyttast ved ønske.

Lovely little house with its own wood fired backstove.

The "Firehouse" was built in 2004 with all the modern qualities. There are heating cables on the floor, private terrace, a great wood-fired back oven and a growing area just outside. The house includes a bedroom and loft. Just outside the door you will find popular hiking and cycling trails. 6 min drive to Sogndal center, 4 min away is Kaupanger center with grocery and ViteMeir center, nice for big and small! 2 min away you will find pool, playground and fitness center.

This Air BnB simply checks all the boxes. It’s a perfect budget option for a solo, couple, or small group. Sogndal is a quiet town in the middle of the Fjordlands - for us this was a perfect stop between Stryn and Bergen right in the middle of some hikes, waterfalls, viewpoints and other tourist spots like Borgund Stave Church and Flåm. While the interior is a bit older, it’s still clean, comfortable, and full of all the amenities you should need! We also enjoyed the nearby Cafe called Det Gule Huset. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot but a bit small so it might be hard to fit in if you’re larger. Everything we used was functional. Parking is easy and the location is very convenient. While it’s right off the road, the location is mostly quiet (thought sometimes the birds can be noisy, especially in the summer!) If there was anyone upstairs, we did not hear them. I’m so thankful for this well-priced option and would gladly stay again! Thanks Lars Arne!

It was a really cozy and lovely place to stay! It was very close to the city center, so I was able to conveniently use all the supermarkets, cafes, and shops. It is a place where everything, from the lighting in the house to the furniture and the pictures in the frames, is in perfect harmony. The host's friendly response made all of this perfect. :)
