Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Lombardy

I can’t think of a better place for my family of four to spend our last night in Italy before flying home the next day from MXP. The village is so peaceful and beautiful, and Gianni and Emanuela’s place is so cozy and comfortable. We arrived in the afternoon, enjoyed a walk around town, had the best spritz in the local bar with a beautiful view. We had a delicious meal in the local restaurant. We had a great night’s sleep in the comfy beds. Emanuela also provided us transport back to MXP at a very reasonable rate. Highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful time with Leonie and her husband. The property is very clean and we felt very much at home right away. Leonie and her husband gave us helpful tips and were always approachable. The location is very quiet in a residential area with lots of nature, just around the corner. In the morning, there was a really delicious and good breakfast. We are very excited and hope that we can come back soon.

as soon as we arrived we were greeted by Paolo's kindness and friendliness. The room is ample illumination with natural light. Spacious and clean bathroom. Our Borzoi Amelie was also well received. Room and bathroom with small fixes (night lamps, some shelves and apennines in the bathroom,......) would be super. The kitchen, to be used in sharing with other guests, is clean and well organized with ample spaces. The real plus is the restaurant. Wonderful. We had a good nightlife risotto. Great!!!

Hosts of heart and magical place, I stayed to go to the Propte lounge and Tiziana and Piedro folded out for me: drop off at Villa Erba to avoid me taking my car, discovering the recipes passed down from generation to generation, breakfast in the garden to enjoy the amazing view, much more than a bed and breakfast, I felt welcomed, a great family, thank you 🙏🏻

A beautiful place to spend a few nights. Waking up with lake views from 80/90meters above the water is amazing. Costanza and her husband Angelo are lovely hosts, making us feel at home right away.

Allesandra en Stefano are two wonderful people that are hosting this Airbnb. perfect for relaxing and unwinding from the busy city life. we got a warm welcome upon arrival from both of them. Stefano showed us the room and the bathroom, both were very clean and tidy. the airconditioning in the bedroom was amazing for the hot summer night. after checking in Stefano offered to clean the pool for us, since there was a brief storm shortly before our arrival. The pool was spotless and a great place to relax from our visit to the city of Parma. the morning breakfast was quite extensive offering bread, spreads, cereal, homemade jam, yogurs, juice, coffee (with many options) and even a very special board of aged Parma ham. unfortunate we only visited Allesandra en Stefano for one night. We would definitely go back, they are very friendly, interested in your travels and always up for a chat. Grazie Allesandra & Stefano!

I loved it at Corte Di Brenta. It is an old style Lombardy Court house, part of a classic Corte Lombarda, northern Italy. In particular I loved the two main bedrooms, each with their own mosaic terrace, where You can sit peacefully sipping a good drink or enjoying some local good food. Lovely view of the surrounding mountains from the back terrace. Great shower cubicle in the upstairs bathroom, with a rain shower and jacuzzi. All is there for your confort and an easy life, and a good holiday. Lovely garden too. Just make Yourself at home. Plenty of fun on offer too in that beautiful area of lakes and mountains. Great eateries and patisseries too, just ask Andrea or the locals. Two places from Me: Circolo Di Arolo, and Pasticceria Marabelli on the Varese Lake. For a great night of food and JAZZ head for Il Sorpasso, Laveno Mombello, on Lake Maggiore. Must book in advance. Life is Good @Corte Di Brenta.

Our stay at Marco's apartment was great! The apartment was very clean, tidy, and pleasant, just as advertised. Check in was flexible and convenient, and also at check out Marco made an effort to come towards us as much as he could. Marco himself was available, friendly and patient, and helped us with everything we wanted – even ordering pizza for us and recommended us an excellent cocktail bar that was exactly to our liking! Unfortunately, he was on vacation, so we didn't meet him in person, nor did we get the massage he usually offers to guests. Instead, his lovely parents welcomed us – even though they don't speak English, they welcomed us with a huge smile, with a big heart and a real willingness to communicate and help, which was very exciting. The surroundings of the apartment were picturesque, quiet and relaxed, with a lovely view of the lake and a sense of nature. There's a supermarket within walking distance and a train station, and it's very convenient. We chose to arrive by car, and it definitely gave us freedom of movement and flexibility, but you can definitely get by without a car – depending on your travel style. In conclusion – warm, personal and pleasant hosting, in an apartment that offers real tranquility. I highly recommend it!

We have stayed in many Airbnb’s around the world and this was by far the best one we have ever stayed in! Extremely warm welcome on arrival with a glass of Prosecco and some homemade donuts which were delicious. The home was immaculate and super cute, use of the swimming pool was a massive bonus. Each morning we came out to our veranda all setup ready for an incredible breakfast, as soon as we came out to eat we were greeted with cappuccino, scrambled eggs and hams and cheese, each morning made the day feel extra special. We thank our hosts so much. And would 100% come back. Thanks for an unforgettable and enjoyable stay James & Hope.

It's a real pleasure to spend a night at Roberta's! You fall asleep with the scent of jasmine and wake up with the birds singing, while having a multitude of restaurants 10 minutes' walk away and the metro right next door. Roberta is very welcoming, her house is warm and her morning coffee is simply excellent! Breakfast served with care. My only regret is not staying longer, I recommend it 100%. B

Tullia gave me very precise directions, as well as an update on the weather conditions. The welcome was exquisite, full of attention and thoughtful care. A real Airbnb, with chatter, human contact and a very pleasant exchange with the hosts. All the rooms in the house are impeccable. The only regret is that I only stayed at Tullia's for one night.

We really enjoyed staying at Sandra‘s place. Sandra was really welcoming and the view from our room over Trient was amazing. We would definitely recommend staying at Sandra‘s place!

We wanted a place to stay before our flight back home. This place is really convenient as it is very close to the airport. Silvanna was a really friendly and nice host. The room was spotless and smelled really nice. The room comes with some breakfast and water as well. Overall, we had a really pleasant stay.

"Holiday with friends" is actually the best choice of words for our all-round successful holiday with Scarlett and Antonio!!!! A wonderful stay, with super hospitable hosts!!!! We would recommend it at any time and were definitely not the last time there!!!!! However, you need a car or bicycles to get to the lake or to the neighboring towns!!! We had a wonderful and relaxing holiday with the two

We got stranded in Frankfurt so unfortunately we never arrived, but the communication was good up to the stay

New, clean, and a 20 minute walk to town centre, train and ferries. The location worked well for me. The breakfast options were slice bread, crackers, some cereal, and cold cuts which I really appreciated. Perfect 👌

This place was very cozy and clean. The view was so beautiful from the terrace. Also the host Melissa was very friendly

I can’t express how much we enjoyed staying here, what an amazing couple, who made us feel so welcome and looked after at all times. The “room” (I would call it flat, as it’s so spacious 😅) was immaculately clean, Vanda is so attentive to details and has given her touch in every single bit of the room, which made the experience even more special. Beautiful experience, we wanted to spend two days of relaxation and we couldn't find anything better... in the middle of the greenery with fantastic and sweet animals. Even the goat stayed with us to be pampered like a dog... Claudia and her husband are fabulous. Dear all. They offered us an aperitif in very pleasant company. Super breakfast. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Had a lovely stay here. Simple room but had everything we needed and we paid a little extra for a lake view which was totally worth it. Lady on reception was extremely helpful. Beautiful spot for breakfast looking out on the lake.

Elena was a kind and welcoming host. She gave us lots of recommendations and we had a very comfortable stay. The views from Elena’s place are amazing. We accessed the surrounding towns by foot, it was around 30 minutes to Varenna and Bellano.

Daniele and Sonia were extremely friendly and helpful, the room and the kitchen clean and with nice details. The breakfast had everything we could wish for, even the freshest eggs from their own chickens! We just stayed for one night and it was perfect for an overnight stay on the way back home.

The apartment is absolutely impeccable and everything is available for two guests. The bathroom is also as new and you notice the attention to detail. The area and the season are very suitable for hiking. For self-catering, a Lidl is close by. I'd love to come back 🙂

We spent 4 days at Filippo's and had the most beautiful stay we've ever had at Lake Garda. The house is beautifully located in a place not flooded by tourists, with great views of Lake Garda. Everything was very clean and it always smelled so good (also 2x after freshly baked cakes😋) Filippo is a warm, open host who empathizes with his guests and thus gives the best recommendations for excursions, restaurants, etc. Every morning we were greeted with a beaming smile and a wonderful breakfast, with said freshly baked cakes and much more.
