Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Lone Hill

This was our second stay at Maddy's place. Beautiful home, large bedrooms enough to accommodate my large family. Very clean. Great communication throughout and they accommodated our awkward check out time due to our flights out. Highly recommend!

James' house located in a very safe neighborhood, considering this is our first time in South Africa, this is necessary to make us feel good, plus we're travelling with 3 small kids. The house is spacey, have everything we need, comfortable, though a little cold during wintertime as it doesn't have central heating, but for adults it's manageable. Distance is also great if you have a car, which is mandatory for Joburg in my opinion. James is also very friendly and responsive, answers to questions whenever he is available, so this was a great find :)

As advertised, this is indeed an oasis in busy Johannesburg! The directions were very clear, location was easy to find, and check in was easy. The space itself is lovely - spacious, very clean, and extremely well-equipped. Little details like lovely shampoo, conditioner, and soap and the kitchen being pre-stocked with coffee, eggs, butter, milk, and all sorts of spices for cooking made us feel right at home. This is one of the best AirBNBs I've been to from an attention to detail perspective. The garden is also lovely, and the cottage is very private and secure. The location is fantastic - close to everything from Sandton to Parkhurst to Zoo Lake. Liza was proactive and friendly with communication, and has really put the time into making sure that we were safe and comfortable.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. Sive is an exceptional host, warm, thoughtful, and truly attentive to every detail. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at home. Her apartment was spotless, beautifully prepared, and had all the little touches that made my stay incredibly comfortable. You can tell she takes real pride in creating a welcoming space, and it shows. Sive’s commitment to excellence sets her apart, she’s not just a great host, she’s a wonderful one. Absolutely loved my stay! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, offering great local tips and making sure everything ran smoothly. I especially appreciated the little touches that made it feel like a home away from home, from the well-stocked warm beverage needs to the ultra-comfy bed. Really beautiful, clean and perfect for 2 guests. Needs a few more bits of cutlery but overall, really nice, free of clutter. Would like the cleaner maybe twice a week as they only carter for once a week. Everything else was perfect. The cleaner is really good, 10/10 for her.

Lebo's place is exactly what u see, so beatifully decorated and has everything u can need for confortable stay. Lebo was a good host and very responsive. The highlight for me was that swing on the balcony, made my mornings and evenings. Definately recommend it&will surely visit again.

Beautifully appointed apartment with the the character and charm not on offer by any other properties I viewed in the area. Building is French chateau style. Beautiful interior shutters carried that feel inside. Real fire place with wood and lighters laid on. Generous starter provisions left for the visitor including Nespresso pods.

We had a remarkable stay at this place and the place is PERFECT in my opinion. We had everything we needed and I must say that the place is even more beautiful than what you see in the pictures.

From the moment we arrived, Louise was available to check us in and explain about the accommodation. She was very responsive to messages, and the studio was well stocked for self catering and for a comfortable stay. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, there was plenty of hot water, and the surroundings were very quiet and peaceful. I would highly recommend Louise’s place for anyone looking to stay in Joburg.

This is indeed a home away from home.
