Bungalow holiday rentals in Long Island Sound

We had a great time saying at BeachDaze! it matched the photos exactly and was beautifully decorated. Traveling with two kids; there was so much for them to enjoy! I would highly recommend!

Excellent stay at Trudy's. Very pleasant house to live in, bright and very quiet. Beautiful living room with large windows. Very comfortable bedding and well appointed kitchen. Thanks for everything. I would recommend the place without hesitation!

The stay was absolutely perfect! Gabrielle was responsive, kind and clear in her communications. The space was accurately described and had a very warm and cozy feeling inside and outside. The deck on the bay was an amazing bonus. A fabulous way to begin and end the day with sunrise and sunset. I hope to be able to return one more time this season and absolutely for next!

It was a nice peaceful place to unwind. I didn’t expect the parking situation (it was a busy weekend in a parking lot shared with a restaurant) so the valet drivers wanted to know if they could block me in for the night but they were nice/easy to communicate with. The restaurant is closer than I expected but closes at 10pm even on the weekends which surprised me. I was bummed the fire pits were mentioned in the listing but not functional although I guess that was in the restaurant’s control too. My only criticism is I think the rug should be replaced… but bed linens bathroom etc was all really clean and I would come back.

We absolutely loved this little bungalow and can’t wait to come back! It is so close to the beach and there are a couple restaurants and bars within walking distance. A ton of other restaurants and bars less than a 10 minute drive away. And Trish is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met! We chose this Airbnb specifically because it was dog friendly and really wanted to give our oldest girl (13) at least one more beach vacation. Trish was super accommodating with the dogs and the beach was calm and perfect for them.

This little beach cottage was perfect for us! Steps from the beach, and walking distance from a ton of great restaurants & shops. Stephanie was super communicative and the house was spotless. Nicely updated and perfectly beachy. We would definitely stay here again!

I’m not easily impressed, but I would definitely stay here again! The unit was spotless and incredibly cozy — truly exceeded my expectations. Even with a rainy weekend, we were perfectly comfortable and had the best time. Thank you for such a wonderful and welcoming stay!

Josh’s place was just what we needed. Peaceful, beautiful surroundings, farm animals to pet! A sauna in the middle of the property, I mean come on! Josh was very commutative and so helpful during our stay any time we needed him.

This was great for our family! It is hard to travel with 3 dogs, but ours felt right at home. The cabin makes you feel like your miles from civilization yet you are 5 minutes from the high way. For us it was ideally located between family, and our dogs acclimated like they were in there own home. The kitchen was well equipped even though we did not make use of any thing other than the coffee maker, the toaster, and the fridge. The lake is beautiful, the area was quiet, and the neighbors were all friendly and quick to give a wave. We would stay here again if we are up in this area.

We had an amazing stay! The location is perfect—just a few minutes walk to the beach. The home came stocked with everything we needed, plus thoughtful extras like beach passes, and complimentary coffee and sweets. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, including plenty of cookware, utensils, and basic pantry items, which made meals super easy. Also really enjoyed the fire pit and BBQ, which made for some great evenings. The kids absolutely loved the hot tub, and there was more than enough space for them to hang out and enjoy themselves. The hosts were fantastic—super responsive and incredibly thoughtful. If you’re planning a trip to Long Beach, I’d highly recommend booking this place. We’ll definitely be staying here again for future trips! :)

This unit nestled in Brooklyn's Canarsie neighborhood is a great stay. I appreciated the walkable roads lined with lush mature trees and minutes from the Canarsie Pier. Things to know about this unit: a) Noisy. It is a downstairs unit of a bilevel structure. Apparently, flooring insulation was not used. Upstairs traffic can be throughout the day and intrusive. b) Parking. Assigned spot in rear of the house is a feat to get to, especially at night. I used free unassigned on-street parking. Pay attention to posted signage to ensure no tickets and avoid driveways/fire hydrants. c) Lighting. Outside illumination is sparse leading to the unit. Pay attention to the steps leading up to the side of the house. In the end of a stay, I ask myself: Would I stay here again? The answer for this unit is, Yes. Hope it helps. Cheers!

Jaclyn's home was perfect for our family of 3! Way more spacious than the pictures showed. We were conveniently located to everything we needed! Definitely a great place to stay when visiting!

I loved this house, so comfortable, clean and attractive. The beds were super comfortable and the shower had good hot water and good pressure. Very pretty and peaceful yard.
