House holiday rentals in Long Island Sound

This was the perfect spot for what we were looking for as my son graduated from Conn College. The host was very responsive to my questions and flexible with check in times which we needed. House was exactly what was described and we had a wonderful time. Thank you!!

This beautiful property has a special place in our hearts. We stayed in the A frame during COVID and we always wanted to come back. This time we stayed in the main house and it was phenomenal. Wish the weather was better for us to use the pool, but next time! It well worth the price. Only an hr from the city and it feels like a full vacation. Wonderful way to lose time time for a few days. We will be back!

Michael’s place was amazing, means a few friends stayed this weekend for my birthday. He was always willing to help and very accommodating! The house itself is so beautiful and had everything we needed! It was our first time in The Hamptons and he gave us tons of recommendations!

This Home was Amazing!! Anastasia is Phenomenal, I could see why they are Super Hosts. Their home is Beautiful and very clean. It’s filled with amenities! all that are in the description. So much so we didn’t even get a chance to take advantage of them all. We were only there for two days. Next time it’ll be much longer. I love this place!

Our family of 5 and pup had the best time on this gorgeous property! The photos do not do the artful design justice, it’s simply stunning and so thoughtful. Our kids swam ever day and loved the pool. We enjoyed Grace Farms, Prospect Movie Thester and a lovely Father’s Day meal at the Inn at Pound Ridge. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked for someone who likes to cook and DoorDash was also easy to use when we didn’t feel like cooking. We will definitely be back! Thank you, RJ and John!

Spent a long weekend here with one other couple and had an amazing first trip to the North Fork. Karine's home was beautiful and close to everything we wanted to see, and her recommendations were excellent and super helpful! Yu’s place was beautiful and right next to the beach! We had a wonderful stay. She was very responsive and communicative. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space! I loved the kitchen. The beach was ideal for my family’s trip! 12 mins to New Haven!

We had a relaxing overnight with our two pups! The bay/sound area is so peaceful. Our dogs enjoyed swimming before the tide came in and we kayaked along the shoreline. The inside was stunning and had everything you needed and more! We door dashed lobster rolls from the Bonfire Grille nearby (10/10) and ended the night in the hot tub! Coffee on the sunny patio was a great perk, too! Thanks again!!

Can not recommend more! Beautiful house and perfect location! Would love to come back. Kids loved the beach and finding shells and little sea creatures in low tide!

Well-appointed and beautiful new property with space for a family of four to spread out and feel comfortable. We greatly appreciated the beach chairs and towels and beach pass so that we could enjoy the private beach access down the road. The board games and family-friendly downstairs space was also a wonderful addition! Chris was an incredibly friendly and responsive host; I was comfortable asking questions at anytime during our stay.

We had a great stay at the Airbnb. One thing I haven’t seen mentioned in the reviews or descriptions is that this beach had tons of sea glass! In our short stay we found over 100 pieces and my 4 year old was absolutely delighted scouring the beach for it. There are also tide pools less than a five minute walk from the house. These two things made the stay quite magical for my kids. Otherwise the location is great and the house was very clean. I appreciated the bed on the first level having a trundle as well as a door at the top of the stairs for safety. The house is minimally decorated which is honestly a plus when you don’t have to worry about your kid breaking nicknacks on coffee tables. A few nice throw blankets and nicer glassware would have added to the stay though. Overall we were very happy with this property.

Our stay was stunning. The location is quiet and peaceful yet close enough to the town to get what you may need. The home itself is absolutely gorgeous. It’s clean, the layout is beautiful, and the views are out of this world. A truly incredible place to stay. We had an unforgettable stay at this magical cabin! Izzy and Joe are amazing hosts—warm, responsive, and incredibly thoughtful. Check-in was seamless, and since late checking was requested by them , they kindly offered a late checkout, which we truly appreciated and made our departure more relaxed. The cabin itself is even better than the photos—beautifully decorated, full of natural light, and thoughtfully designed. The bedroom and sunroom with lake views quickly became our favorite cozy spots. The private island with its dreamy daybed swing and breathtaking lake views felt like a hidden paradise, and our dog loved roaming leash-free on the island. Everything in the cabin is intuitively organized, with smart controls for lighting, shades, and TV—managed via an iPad that also contains a well-designed digital guide. We’ve stayed at many cabins over the years, and this one stands out in every way. We’re already planning to return and make this special place an annual tradition

Great spot. Easy to get to places. Comfortable. Great backyard + pool. We had a good time, zero complaints here. We are a family of 3 and found everything convenient.

It was a great stay! Beach was easy to get to and was perfect for young kids. Everything was super clean, especially the beds and linens. Host was very responsive and friendly. There were some kids toys and pack and plays which was super helpful! Rooms were spacious.

We had a great weekend in Mattituck! The house is in a great location close to the vineyards and we enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful backyard. It was a quiet and a peaceful escape from the city. Fabio was also a kind and informative host.

Lovely gem, right in new haven, You get a beach built into the house, lovely sand. You get the peaceful surrounding and a great house with great amenities to enjoy like a firepit, a kids slide & swing and a barbeque. You get the ability to order in food from any variety of restaurant from new haven. You get a nice host that helps you all along the way All in all great choice for a relaxing walkaway.

Sarah is an amazing host - super quick responses to questions, friendly, helpful, it was such a pleasure to stay at her house! The house is more than that - Sarah makes it feel like home! From the countless comfy reading nooks that our teenagers loved and used, to the awesome outdoor space, the pool table & wine cooler and well stocked kitchen all the way to the nice touch of live plants (because let's be honest, at how many AirBnBs have you have live plants before?!). We felt right at home and are definitely planning on coming back! Highly recommend!!
