The Heron Hangout is a newly renovated home with an astonishing view of the Willapa Bay. The 2466 sq. ft. house sits on 4 plus acres, secluded from neighbors for a peaceful getaway. The Willapa Bay has an abundance of wildlife; it is common to see Blue Heron, ducks, geese, eagles and deer. Boats and dredges used in the oyster and steamer clam industry go past as the tide goes in and out. Venturing out and exploring all that the Long Beach Peninsula has to offer is just a short drive away.

Stay here and listen to the waves! Enjoy all the beauty and fun the Long Beach Peninsula has to offer at this cute little guest studio in a cul-de-sac on quiet dead-end road - not suitable for children under 13. Five minute drive to the beach! The nice private outdoor patio has a covered kitchen, a firepit, BBQ, 4-burner stove top and large sink for cleaning clams/fish. We have plenty of extra parking for Rod run cars and fishing boats! All guests are welcome to use clam shovels and guns, as well as boots and bags; all in the garage. Your family will be close everything when you stay at this centrally-located place.

We had such a wonderful time at the Beachcomber in Westport. The hosts were very communicative - after extending our stay (because we loved the house so much!) they got us additional supplies to make sure we were comfortable. The house was spotless and brand new, and the amenities were perfect. Tons of clean and plush towels, games/puzzles in the living room, SmartTVs in every room (we especially loved a movie and nap on the comfy/huge couch in the media room). Sitting in the hot tub at sunset was a dream. The neighborhood was quiet and we had the beach almost completely to ourselves in late May/early June. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation and rental property. We'd love to come back!

The house was perfect for our group of 8. We really enjoyed the open floor plan upstairs with a beautiful large kitchen and comfortable living room where we were able to hang out and look out at the ocean. The eagles perched and flying by the house was an extra perk that made our trip, absolutely extraordinary! Highly recommend!! Hope to enjoy another trip to this beautiful house in the future!

Cutest and most peaceful little getaway. We took walks on the shore and loved listening to the tide come in at night. We were in Astoria for the majority of the time of our stay but this place was very convenient. Before we left we took a ride up to Long Beach to grab some fresh taffy. Would definitely stay again.
