Located in the Anjou wine region, this rustic 100m2 cottage equipped with all modern amenities is part of an old winegrowers property called 'Closerie Les Roches' that includes two other cottages. We are close to charming villages and towns such as Montreuil-Bellay and Saumur. Visit local wineries, explore famous Loire valley castles, visit the award-winning Doué-la-Fontaine zoo or just stroll among the vines right outside the property. We also offer dinner for our guests twice a week.

This farmhouse is located at the gates of Anjou. Winegrowers and village five minutes away. You can enjoy the Puy-du-Fou 55 minutes away, the Futuroscope is 1h20 away, the first castles of the Loire are 30 minutes away, the Doué-en-Anjou biopark is 20 minutes away, karting seven minutes away, Parc de la Vallée 10 minutes away, canoeing, cycling, hiking... You can go and collect eggs from the henhouse and feed the chickens. Our horses are close to the house. Pets allowed if well behaved!

For your comfort, sheets and towels are provided, the cottage is air-conditioned and equipped with Internet.

A well-equipped gite sleeping 6 in 3 bedrooms. The downstairs bedroom has a king-size bed and an en suite bathroom The two upstairs bedrooms have zip and link beds, so they can be set up as two single beds or one super king bed. They share a toilet and shower room. Relax within 7 acres of outside space, including a heated outdoor pool (shared with Poplar House and heated from mid-May to mid-September), table tennis, badminton and bikes.

A stone's throw from the accommodation, we will welcome you to our shop for a guided tour and a tasting of our Crémants de Loire and our wines. A bike deposit is also available (€10 per day). Saumur city center is a 5-minute drive from the property.
