Historical holiday house in the Dordogne valley

Superb house like no other in the Dordogne valley: on the square of a listed village, built in the 15th century, wood panelling from the 18th century, giant stone staircase and stone walls, big fireplaces... A lot of history packed in a spacious (1700 ft 2) house equipped with all the modern conveniences. Large bedrooms with each its bathroom. Ideally located to visit the area, Padirac, Rocamadour... Also close to shops and restaurants. Bed linen, towels, wifi and cleaning fees included.

Le Gardien

Chateau de Grimard was built at the end of the 13th century and is immediately next to the River Lot. It is set amongst vineyards and sunflower fields, with 8 hectares of land all of which can be used by guests. The Chateau has 3 gites, all of which have sufficient privacy. Guests can swim in the river, kayak, and there is also a large shared salt walter swimming pool. The historic town of Puy L’Eveque is five minutes drive away. Bookings are accepted from a Saturday to a Saturday only.

During the summer (July, August), rentals are by the week from Saturday to Saturday. The cottage is equipped with a reversible heat pump air conditioner that will meet your cooling needs in the summer.

Most of the attractions of Périgord Noir are within a maximum radius of 20 minutes. A barbecue will allow you to fully enjoy the outdoors while the children have fun on the games available. As the new owner, I will strive to positively develop the place.
