Other attractions close by are Murlough Beach, Castlewellan forest Park & many walking, hiking & cycling trails.

Kennedy Farm Lodge

A brand-new, private, 2 bedroom, self-contained apartment on a working farm, just 20 minutes from Belfast City Airport and 10 minutes from Belfast International Airport. A beautiful modern S/C apartment located on the edge of Oxford Island Nature Reserve set on the shores of Lough Neagh only 20 minutes south of Belfast, 30 minutes from the beach and 40 minutes from the Mourne mountains . The house is set on the grounds of a thatch cottage where we live with dogs, cats and hens which roam about freely waiting to welcome newcomers and overlooks stunning countryside. Titanic Exhibition, shopping and high end restaurants are all within easy reach.

Flowerhill Cottage

Flowerhill Cottage is a 18th Century barn which has been sympathetically restored to an exceptional standard. In 2021 we have replaced the bathroom, installed new triple glazing and completed redecorated. The accommodation comprises of 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, an open plan kitchen/dining area, and living room with double sofa bed and a wood burning stove. The accommodation can be altered to suit the needs of any guest. Cots, high chairs etc can be provided upon request.

The cosy cottage provides perfect accommodation for up to 4 people. You can enjoy the spa pool, sauna, and paddle boards whilst experiencing breath-taking views. The cottage is located a stones throw from the beach, with stunning views looking over Strangford Lough and the Mourne Mountains. Only 5 minutes walk is the village of Kircubbin, where there are pubs, restaurants and a supermarket. With the water so close, wake up to the sounds, views & smell of the sea.

The Hen House @ Bancran School

The Hen House is a quirky, corrugated Tiny House retreat with a comfy double bedroom, kitchen and cooking facilities, a private hot tub, and daylight-attracting gallery windows that showcase the Sperrin Mountains to absolute perfection! Spend the evening taking in the views whilst relaxing in front of the Danish Morso stove or enjoy the communal Gin Tin facilities with BBQ. The Hen house is at the rear of Bancran School our family home and in a quiet area.
