Farmstay holiday rentals in Louisiana

I was moving across the country, and Sandra’s beautiful farm was exactly what I needed. It was peaceful, quiet, nice and cool, and it allowed my dog to stay with me. Sandra was very kind, proactive, communicative, and friendly. Perfect host!

Beautiful little cottage on the grounds of an even more beautiful old plantation home property. The cottage was quaint and was plenty of room for us. Only three of us stayed but it is very comfortable for a family of four with a loft bedroom with a queen and two twin beds (and a pull out sofa in the living area downstairs). It is great for a peaceful getaway!

We came in town for my son college orientation. Although we drove to orientation. You can easily walk to campus. trips in future will probably be walked to campus from the air b and b. I will be definitely staying there again over next 4 years while my kid is in college. Beds are comfortable kitchen clean and has everything if you need to cook or warm food.

Peyton’s place is my go to spot when I’m visiting my hometown. It’s close to the event center and downtown Wisner.

Space is exactly as described in a really lovely, artful part of the city with easy walking/biking/running to the Quarter or the Bywater neighborhood. Lots of green spaces nearby. Wifi is fast and great for remote work. Lots of restaurants and places to enjoy all around. Kitchen amenities limited as mentioned by hosts, so bring your appetite for enjoying out! Good to consider for longer stays perhaps.

This place was great and the host was very accommodating. Came down for a rodeo held locally and this stay was very convenient to the arena. The girls swam and played when they had time and we were able to rest from the heat. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area!

This place is so adorable!! The photos do not do it justice - it's an old historic Cajun cabin. The bathroom was much larger than I thought and has an original claw tub. The upstairs loft has the 2 twin beds and a double - very roomy. The surrounding grounds are beautiful and peaceful - horses, chickens, citrus trees, old barns etc.... You are close to the highway, but feel like you are deep in the country. The only downside to this place is that we only spent 2 nights and didn't get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked. This airbnb is perfect for an isolated getaway of quite and relaxation. Highly recommend!!!

This house is absolutely stunning! My girls loved hanging out here while they were getting ready!

We had a wonderfully restful stay to celebrate our anniversary. Mary was quick to respond to questions before we started our journey. She generously allowed us an early check-in, which was so appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed a dip in the pool and meeting the resident animals. Everything was clean and well-stocked for us. If you’re a dog lover like us, you can bring some treats and make friends! ❤️🐶 We drank coffee on the porch swing and watched Mary tend the beehives in the distance. After seeing all the work that goes into it, we had to bring some honey home for souvenirs! Mary was a fantastic host. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks so much!

My colleagues and I had a great time at Five Oaks Farms! We enjoyed coffee on the rocking chairs with the chickens in before and after our work days. The house and beds were very comfortable, everything was clean and lots of little attentions everywhere. Great morning farm eggs too. Thank you, we will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at the barn house! The place was really clean and cozy. The host was very kind and responsive and my Mom enjoyed the tour of the property and all of the things to see around it. We enjoyed the quiet and comfortable place and would definitely recommend this unit to others. Thanks to the host for helping make this a fantastic part of our visit!

My crew was doing a job in town and this place worked out great for us. The location was close enough to be to and from the job site quickly but also secluded enough that it was peaceful and quiet. The hosts were responsive and very helpful from us arriving late at and night and leaving a little early. This will be my first choice of houses to stay at next time we come back.

Allison’s home and property was beautiful! The space was perfect for my family and my siblings families. The property was exquisite and serene. This was a 10/10 experience and we will for sure be back!

This little green house is small but so cozy and perfect for a weekend get away. It is set on a beautiful piece of property that is private, yet not isolated. We very much enjoyed both the amenities of the house itself as well as fishing in the pond, thanks to the very well equipped fishing supplies on site. The kitchen is perfect for cooking a small meal, the bedroom is cozy and comfortable, and the decor is very cute. We cannot wait to stay here again!

Our stay in Morgan's guest house was beyond expectations. We were greeted by a friendly host who showed us around the property and explained everything we needed to know. The property sits on a very large lot with a beautiful garden and open space. It was peaceful and inviting. The interior of the property was larger than the photos showed, which made for a very comfortable to share with our grandchildren. The kitchen was upscale and the common living room area had a beautiful vaulted ceiling. It was apparent that considerable thought went in to decorating and equipping this home. We have family in the area and will definitely be returning to this beautiful property.

What a beautiful property. And the apartment was well done, clean and very comfortable. We wish we had more time there.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is peaceful and private. The sitting area by the water is secluded and quiet. Loved the windows looking out to the water. We wanted a weekend away from our normal busy lives and this was “mission accomplished “. The homemade biscuits were delicious and some of the best I have ever had. Yard eggs and homemade jelly just topped it off. Our host was very responsive and willing to help. I also enjoyed meeting their sweet dog. I would recommend staying here if anyone is ever staying in this area.

Wonderful place to stay!!!!

If you're reading this, then you're one of the lucky ones. Cos it means you've found a very unique AirBnB. If you're the sort of person that likes staying in memorable places, then Sarah's place is for you. Book it. The cute little bedsit she's created is clean and comfortable and has a nice little balcony overlooking the barn its inlaid into. Your primary view? A beautiful field populated by vast ancient trees and a herd of water buffalo that Sarah has hand raised. To settle into a drink here while the sun goes down and the herd brays its approval for bedtimes was an utterly magical experience. I only hope you get to experience it too. Just go. (Myrtles if you dine out.)

We enjoyed our stay at the Guest House. Our hosts were very friendly and show great hospitality. From recommendations on restaurants to bringing us fresh eggs they always were very hospitable. The house is very nice and homey feeling with plenty of room and amenities. Everything was clean and well organized. From the comfortable beds to the outside sitting areas we couldn't complain about Any thing. We highly recommend this booking to anyone who is coming to stay in the area. I know that the next time we are in town I'm going to try and stay again if it's available.

Needed a place to rest while we were in town working and this place had everything we needed to enjoy a peaceful stay. Would book again whenever I’m in the area.

This was our second stay at Annette’s place. It felt like home in the comfy, clean space with plenty of room. The full size refrigerator and washer and dryer are a bonus. We loved walking down the road to see the horses and the chickens were fun to watch. I highly recommend Annette’s place. Both she and her husband are great hosts, very personable and wonderful to talk to.

It was very beneficial for my family to be close to our house & accomodate my family. It was perfect for us!!!
