Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Louth

stayed at Caroline's to celebrate a friend's upcoming nuptials. We enjoyed all the amenities, hosting yoga on the astro, an evening in the hot tub and a dance class on the patio. we ate in with some catering and the basics were all there with lies of kitchenware. Caroline had very kindly set up an afternoon tea for our arrival which was a delightful surprise.

Carmel's accommodation is located in a quiet and very nice residential area. However, shopping and restaurants are easy to reach. Carmel is a very warm hostess who gave us many great tips and was very easy to reach. You feel welcome right away. A clear recommendation!

This converted barn is in a great location, just a few minutes drive from the local village (Omeath - with a great pub which is child and dog friendly!). Also well located if visiting Carlingford. The house itself has everything you need and is set in expansive gardens (perfect for our dog). Samantha & Terry are great hosts - very welcoming and we had great communication from the moment we booked. They were very accommodating for our 1.5yr old son, with highchair, travel cot and toys provided. Highly recommend their place - hope to stay again soon.

Loved our stay here! Beds were comfortable, views were amazing. Yeah there was some noise from the bars on Saturday night, but we just played white noise on a phone and fell right to sleep. Bring an eye mask, unless you love waking up with the sun! I did manage to catch sunrise one morning and it was very pretty.

We fell in love with Michelle’s cottage! The cottage itself and the grounds it is on are just idyllic. We’re all devastated to be home😆 The kids adored watching the sea and the quiet of the place and funtasia wasn’t a far drive so they were in their element. Really hope to go back here soon

Absolutely exceptional stay—better than expected in every way! This Airbnb was a hidden gem. Tucked away in a super private location with breathtaking views of the Cooley Mountains, it offered the perfect mix of tranquility and comfort. From the moment we arrived, thoughtful touches made us feel right at home—everything was clearly designed with care. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the bathrooms felt like something out of a wonderful hotel. The kitchen was fully equipped with every appliance and utensil we could possibly need, making meals a breeze. The sauna was a wonderful bonus, and the abundance of windows and skylights filled the space with natural light and let the views pour in. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly, highly recommended—this place is a standout!

This airbnb was the perfect location in Dundalk. It was walkable to the town center. Easy to get to the shops and restaurants. Plus near the bus station. I highly recommend Helen’s house. It’s perfect for tourists who are new to Dundalk. And perfect for locals visiting Dundalk. I will definitely would stay here again in the near future. This was very cosy home. Offered a lot of “home sweet home” vibes.

I had a great stay at this quiet, clean, and well-located apartment—perfect for a solo trip or working visit. The space had everything I needed: a comfy bed, a nice bath, and a solid kitchen setup with extras like a washer and air fryer. Check-in was smooth, and I felt totally safe and comfortable. The location was super convenient—just minutes from the train station, close to shopping, downtown, the River Boyne, and handy bus routes. Suzanne was a great host—friendly, responsive, and professional. This no-fuss, peaceful spot is ideal if you're looking for a calm, well-kept place with excellent access to everything. Would happily stay again!

The property is really nice and the location was excellent. The check in was super easy and the instructions were clear for finding the property. We had a great stay and enjoyed the local area.

Delightful cottage surrounded by greenery 30 minutes from the airport, we stayed 2 nights at the beginning of June at Lisa's. The house is on two floors, small but comfortable, warm and clean, with 4 beds. 1 double bed and 2 single beds. The bathroom is only on the ground floor, it can be inconvenient for those with toddlers with suicidal tendencies like ours. Lisa provides a baby crib, and her beautiful and well-kept garden with a tree house! 😍

Rob is a great host, very responsive and friendly. We had a fantastic stay at the apartment which is clean and has everything you need. Another highlight is the beautiful surrounding. Very peaceful and quiet. We loved it and can definitely recommend.

We enjoyed are stay at Paul's place. The location was right in the center of town and easy walking distance to restaurants, pubs and stores. Paul was a very gracious host and met us upon check in to make sure everything was in order. The Apartment was very clean with fresh linens and towels along with all the amenities we needed for our stay. Paul's wife baked a loaf of brown bread for us and the refrigerator was well stocked with waters. I would highly recommend staying there if your travels take you to Dundalk. We look forward to a return visit!

Superb hosts with really good communication and excellent instructions before arrival. The Lodge was home form home and Mary really went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. Highly recommended property, gardens and location for exploring the East of Ireland and Northern Ireland as it is conveniently located between Dublin and Belfast. A car is a necessity. Very good accessible adapted property for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility. Could not fault the standard, amenities and cleanliness of the property.
