Recently renovated Creole Cottage 2 blocks to St. Charles Ave / streetcar line, minutes to the French Quarter, Garden District, and Uptown area. Includes many original historic features (hardwood floors, decorative brick fireplaces, high ceilings). This is a duplex. Other side may be available for rental for larger traveling parties. Inquire if interested. Guests will have full occupancy of the home, therefore full access to all amenities listed. This home is not owner occupied, but owner is local and will be available for any questions or concerns. This cottage is two blocks from St. Charles Avenue, a major family-friendly parade route during Mardi Gras and a main thoroughfare to get around the city. It's close to many restaurants and bars. A small grocery store is a five-minute walk away. The St. Charles Ave. streetcar will take you to the French Quarter and to the uptown area where you can visit Loyola or Tulane Universities and the can't miss Audubon Park (and zoo). Cost is $1.25 to ride. From there, jump on a bus to get to the other areas of the city. Free street parking is available. Bike Share station close by. Additional information about the home will be provided to ensure a comfortable and easy stay. Coffee and bottled water available.
