The Chalfonte Hotel is such a cool place! If you’re intrigued with history and character, this is an experience for you. Only a 5 min walk from the beach and lots of great restaurants and things to do in the area. This was my first time in Cape May, it will certainly not be my last.

Ruslan is a great host! He is very kind and very responsive. We only stayed a night but it was perfect.

It is always a pleasure to stay in the beautiful Chalfonte Hotel! Charming historic Victorian surroundings and a beautiful relaxing veranda three blocks from Cape May's beaches. The front desk is always helpful and friendly, and the King Edward bar is always full of interesting conversations and delicious drinks. We have been coming to Cape May for 10 years and have stayed in the Chalfonte for three, I don't see myself staying anywhere else!

I enjoyed my stay in the little corner room at the Chalfonte. I loved reading and people-watching on the porch. It's a great location, just a few blocks from the beach and the main shopping area. I parked my car a few blocks away and rented a bicycle to get around town. The bathroom was a bit further down the hall than I expected, but it was always clean and available.

Great spot! loved the communal feel and accessibility to the beach. Room was tidy and exactly what I needed. Great experience all around!

This place was amazing, great environment. The host was super helpful. The room was very clean, my husband and I had a great time staying there we will definitely stay there again. It’s in a perfect location too. Everyone working there was super nice and respectful.

Great place to stay and relax, friendly neighborhood, and some bars close by for comfort.

The location was stunning—just a short walk to the beach—and everything about the space felt intentional and thoughtfully designed. The decor was beautiful, giving off a high-end, relaxing vibe that made it easy to unwind. Parking was easy and the location was very convenient. Would definitely stay again!

It’s was overall a really nice place. The only complaint that I have is that the pool was closed for my stay which I did not find out until I had already booked the place. It didn’t matter though because it was too cold to swim anyway. There was a hallway connecting rooms 207 & 208, which would have bothered if someone was staying in the other room because the door is loud.

Meghan, my 2 friends (from grade school) and I enjoyed our 4 days in Avalon. Your location which is one block from the beach is very convenient. We also had no issues with parking. We appreciate your attention to detail and making your condo very comfortable for the 3 of us. The binder with all the pertinent information was very helpful and the checkin process was easy. We visit Avalon every summer over Labor Day Weekend to enjoy the beach and the area. Meghan emailed a few days ahead of time with very thorough check-in/out instructions. Meghan's place is right across the street from the Windrift which is perfect. We went over there for snacks and drinks almost every night. The unit was clean and very comfortable. It's small but space is optimized with the L-shaped couch and King sized bed. The unit being right over the pool did result in some noise in the afternoon when families had returned from the beach and the kids were taking their pre-dinner dips, but it was nothing that isn't expected in a summer resort town on LDW. We enjoyed the vibes, but if you are someone who does not appreciate that, maybe consider staying during the off-season instead. Good news is, the bedroom is located at the back of the unit and therefore away from the pool noise if you're needing the post-beach nap. We will absolutely be staying again next summer!

Great value for money. The rooms were basic, but large and very clean. Having the living/dining room in addition to the bedroom was great. This space looked over the swimming pool and patio out to the beach. If we head down that way again will definitely book.

OK, first, if you want to go to a place that is SUPER relaxed, where the hosts make you feel entirely welcome, then this is the place. Plus, Richard was really helpful in telling us where to go and how to use the parks (we’d never been). Secondly, everything that everyone has said about the breakfast is TRUE. Thirdly, Richard kindly allowed us to use the outdoor shower after we had checked out. This was super kind and helpful. Finally, he and his wife have made this a kid friendly place. They were 100 percent fine with my 5-yr old grandchild playing with some of their unique toys. Thank you for making our stay so relaxing and enjoyable.

Great clean spacious apartment. Immediate area is not the nicest to walk around. But it is a great location to drive to Pittsburg or get on major roadways!

My friends and I stayed at Edwin's place for the country music fest. The room was exactly as described and was very clean. It was within walking distance of the boardwalk and beach. Safe neighborhood, we had to park down the street as we had more than one car but there was free street parking less than a block away. Pool was clean and there are 4 grills along with picnic tables. We had a great stay and look forward to booking again!

Great location, just one block from boards. Had beautiful and comfortable cabanas on 1st and 2nd floor. No noise from neighbors. Easy check in and check out. Kind and approachable staff. Would stay again!

Very quick responses and very easy to communicate with. All directions were clear and easy. Awesome property and had a blast. Right on the beach!
