Forget about everyday worries in this spacious and peaceful space. Proximity to the ski slope and high location overlooking Yxsjön! Here is the swimming area with a jetty just in front of the house. And ski tracks/exercise tracks around the corner. About 40 minutes drive to Säfsen, about 1 hour drive to Romme Alpin and 20 minutes to Fjällberget. The sleeping loft that you reach up the stairs offers a spacious wide bed. There are two guest beds with hefty mattress that you can place out where you want in the house. Proximity to fishing, hiking and swimming, or just sit on the spacious terrace and enjoy the tranquility and silence. 25 minutes to Romme Alpin, 45 minutes to Säfsen. One bedroom and sleeping loft provide space for a small family or couple. The place is located in Grangärdebygden and with Ludvika about 15 minutes away by car and with Säfsen within just over 30 minutes distance. Explore charming villages, culture and enjoy the nature. For those interested in cycling, there are miles of bike paths next to the cottage for wonderful cycling adventures!

Comfortable Lake View Cottage

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful home next to the lake Rämen. Close to Gyllbergen nature reserve with hiking trails and convenient distance to Romme Alpin. In the area there are nice nature trails and swimming area. The cottage has access to its own rowing boat and sauna. Two bedrooms, one has a 180 cm wide double bed (2 x 90) with a full mattress topper and the other has a bunk bed where the upper bed is 80 cm wide and the lower bed is 120 cm wide, which makes it possible that two people can sleep there.

Wake up to a magical lake view in cozy Rämsbyn, with proximity to both nature and summer &/winter activities. Thanks to its stone bottom, the water in Rämen is clear and welcoming to swim in. There is also the possibility to fish for trout, perch and pike. Fishing card can be bought on site or online. Private jetty and possibility to borrow a canoe. Romme Alpin is about 25 minutes' drive away. Proximity to several nature reserves, including Gyllbergen. Kupolen shopping center about 20-25 min drive away.

The Baker's House - Bagarstugan

Welcome to stay in the old Baker's at our farm in the countryside in the South of Dalecarlia. You will dispose of your own house with stunning surroundings. The lake, the forest, and the fields are just outside of your door. There are cross-country skiing tracks nearby and good downhill skiing 40-45 min away in Säfsen and Romme Alpin. The area also has great trail running and MTB. The lake is ideal for pike and bass fishing from a boat in the summer, or ice fishing in the winter.

The cottage has a large porch with stunning lake view. Walking distance to swimming area with sandy beach. Discover museum, cafés, go-karts, Spa, fishing trips, ski downhill/ length.

Here you live in a cozy log house from 1909 with modern amenities. Walking distance to Ludvika's range of shops and restaurants. In winter, there are good opportunities for skiing, both in the tracks and downhill. Romme alpine is 30 min away. Summer time there is possibility for fishing in Övre Hillen. Fish from the jetty or rent our plastic boat with electric motor (SEK 150/half day 8-12, 12-16). Fishing license 50kr/ day.

Rikkenstorp - swedish countryside!

Come and stay at our small organic farm. You have your own nice house by the lake with access to a sauna. Take a walk in the forest or on the paths around the farm and say hi to the animals. This is an active small scale farm with a genuine feeling! Experience real countryside with nature, silence and a sky full of stars :-)
