The more than 130-year-old log cabin in the cultural heritage landscape of Suvanto takes its residents on a time travel to a 19th century village in the far north of Finland. The property is best suited for a friend of Lapland's nature, history and silence, who is not afraid of the dark in winter or mosquitoes in summer. Please note: there is no public transportation to the village, no toilet in the main building, nor a shower. There is a separate sauna building outside and a traditional outhouse behind the sauna.

The log cabin has beds for two. Electricity + heating. Well-equipped kitchen. No running water. The hosts take care of the drinking water in the kitchen. Fireplace. Washing in the sauna, the use of the sauna is agreed with the hosts. The hosts use the other buildings on the premises.

Our “nature park” is perfect for those who enjoy peace and quiet and the natural environment, for families with children, for those looking for the northern lights and the starry sky in winter, and for ice climbers in Korouoma. Our own lake allows for ice fishing and other outdoor activities on the ice, as well as boating in the summer.

Holiday Home Snowberry

Welcome to the middle of nature to enjoy the cozy atmosphere of a log cabin. This holiday home, built in 2013, is located only about a 30-minute drive from the center of Rovaniemi and Santa Claus Village. The cabin has two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a fireplace, and a wood-fired sauna where you can experience the Finnish sauna culture. There is also a private lean-to (laavu) on the premises.
