1930s villa between Whale and Palm Beach

The space
This outstanding villa is situated within walking distance of Whale Beach along the Pacific coast north of Sydney. Built in the 1930s and enhanced with state-of-the-art amenities, the light-filled home is perched on a hillside with views of Pittwater and features expansive outdoor living areas. The four-story sandstone house includes four bedrooms accommodating eight, and is just minutes from some of the finest beaches, golf, and dining on this exquisite shore of New South Whales.

Nestled amid lush woods, the villa's swimming pool and inset spa invite you to soothing soaks under the sun or stars, while the poolside cabana with vaulted ceiling and exposed stone welcomes classic Australian barbeque meals. There is also an upper-level terrace with a second outdoor dining table and lofty views of the water.

Finely restored interiors blend antique elegance with fresh paint finishes, high-end appliances, and rustic accents in the furnishings and hardwood floors. Enjoy a fine Australian wine by the fire in the lounge, or watch a favorite movie in the media room with projector. Prepare delicious meals in the contemporary gourmet kitchen and relish them at the dining table. The pool room offers a private space with its own kitchenette, lounge, and dining area.

The villa's primary suite features a king bed and walk-in closet, while its ensuite bathroom includes a stand-alone shower and a tub under a skylight window. The three guest bedrooms all have queen beds; one opens to the pool terrace, and one opens to a private patio with table.

The villa is an easy walk or brief drive to Whale Beach, and is just down the street from Jonah's Restaurant & Beach Hotel. Palm Beach and Avalon Beach are also nearby, and you're a few minutes from Palm Beach Golf Club, the Boathouse Palm Beach restaurant, and the famous Barrenjoey Lighthouse. Downtown Sydney is just over forty kilometers away.
