Cabin holiday rentals in Lysefjord

It was very nice stay at this spectacular place. Very cozy and clean house, with nice view outside. Very privat and paceful.

We spent a weekend at Kjetil’s place and it was an amazing experience! The cabin is spacious (the rooms are actually bigger than how they look in the pictures), beautiful, complete with everything we needed, and not to mention, the JACUZZI which we enjoyed so much! We booked this place without any comment or reviews from others as this was a new listing back then, and we didn’t regret taking the risk. It was all worth it. Kjetil was very kind to help us with everything we needed, he was easy to communicate with, and the cabin is perfect for a big group like us — three families, with children and a 3-month baby. We’re hoping to come back here for next year’s winter season!

We only stayed one night at the property. This little cabin is optimized to the maximum and you feel really good there. In good weather, the jacuzzi is a plus. Don't hesitate if you pass by and don't be afraid of adventure!

The place is excellent. We love the fact that the house has a space outside for activities. Definitely a come again place for us.

We felt very comfortable in the accommodation. The view of the fjord is fantastic. The place is super equipped and has everything you need. Susanne was very nice and gave us some tips for activities in the area.

Very cozy cabin and nice host

We had a lovely time with the family, beautifull and spacious home (even bigger then I thought from the pictures. The house has everything you need and is very clean. The area is just amazing!

The place is lovely, even more beautiful than the pictures. For us, it was the most beautiful place to stay in Norway. The garden, nature and the private beach are fantastic. We thought it was very good that we were allowed to use the canoes. Check-in was also great. øyvind welcomed us very nicely and showed us everything. He was always available and very nice. We are very glad to have booked the place and would come back any time :-) 10/10 stars 🌟

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Arriving in a foreign country after 2 days drive and being at home is mainly due to great hosts like Lillian and Stein. Rarely have we met such nice people who go out of their way, offer 110% service and are fully helpful. The communication was great, we received an answer to all questions without exception and always very quickly. We had a great time at your wonderful home on the fjord. It is modern, equipped with everything you need. It is clean, lovingly decorated and very cozy. Thanks Lillian and Stein, all the best for you!

The cabin is nice and spacious and has as really beautiful view. There are some nice hiking routes in the area. A bit remote which we like.

We had a lovely short week at Vegard's house. Even though we did not meet him, we had very pleasant contact. He is very responsive and friendly and helpful with questions! The house is in a nice quiet place with spacious garden and beautiful location on the water. You even have access to your own private beach and can use a boat and canoes. We had a lot of fun with that! Our dog was also able to have a good time here. You will be staying in a characteristic old house with lots of charm. Also a lot of space and comfort. And as a surprise, we had deer in the garden every now and then. Nearby is the Preikestolen, beautiful walk! And for visiting Stavanger, you are also ideal here. We liked Jørpeland too! In short, plenty to do in the area and around the house. Highly recommend if asking us!

We had a great week in Linda's mountain hut. Only the weather could have been a little better. The cabin contains everything you need during your stay. Linda is very helpful and hospitable and always answered our questions as quickly as possible. The recommendations for excursions were great. The space is definitely recommended. We would book it again. 😊

The nice little house in Høle is a little pearl at the Fjord. It was renovated and decorated with a lot of love and you directly feel at home. It was really nice to chat with the owners. The house is the perfect start for stunning boat trips on the Lysefjord with the little boat available for use. The house offers a nice fire place to warm up afterwards. For kids a small collection of games and puzzles is available. The nearby town has a supermarket to get all needed items. Also Sandnes is not far for bigger shopping trips. We enjoyed the stay very much!

We have loved staying at the cabin, it feels like home. It was a cosy place and very clean. We recommend it.

Great place, in excellent shape. One minor item, many places include a few amenities like shampoo but overall it was a wonderful experience.

Very comfortable hut with beautiful view. It was a fantastic feeling watching such a beautiful mountains from a living room.

Thank you very much for the wonderful days in the cozy cabin. The calmness descended as soon as we entered, everything was well arranged, even fresh flowers on the dining table and a little attention to us. The weather was beautiful, we had some nice walks in the mountains, but it was also wonderful to relax on the cozy terrace and just listen to the silence of nature. We hope to be able to come back at a later time.

The place was just amazing! The view is an absolute dream - waking up to it every morning was a real highlight. The apartment is perfectly equipped, nothing is really missing. Everything is lovingly and modernly furnished, super clean and thoughtful – you feel comfortable from the first moment.

We felt very comfortable in the house and enjoyed the nature all around. The creek around the property is beautiful and invites you to cool off in one place. A recommendation is also worth the farm shop, which can be reached after a beautiful half hour walk.

The sea view lodge is a place I’ll dream of for years to come. It’s the kind of listing that is even more stunning than the photos. It’s so beautifully decorated with the colours of its surroundings! I will never get over how peaceful and restful my experience was there. You will be SO glad you booked this idyllic cottage by the sea! Aina was so responsive throughout our stay and made me feel so taken care of. She was flexible with our arrival time and sent her son to greet us as she was out of town. The lodge has everything you could need, complete with an amazing view of the sea. We did hike Preikestolen and pop into Stavanger, but the main attraction was sitting in the window seat watching the waves and boats pass by. I ran to a nearby beach and enjoyed hiking down by the rocks on the coast. I miss it there already. Thank you so much, Aina and family. I am so grateful you share your home with all of us! Arne is a great host. The cabin was clean and tidy. The kitchen had everything we needed. The pool and sauna were wonderful. The best thing was the tranquility and the nature around. I would gladly return.
