Sandville Chalet

FionaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had been to this area a few years ago and thought Narin beach was one of the most beautiful beaches ever seen. We were lucky to come across Julie and Paul's Chalet, and couldn't believe our luck that it was available! Very cosy, well cared for and just as stated 2 mins from beach, 2 mins from pub!!

Coastal Cottage Lettermacaward (Dungloe 14km)

NinaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
It is a sweet cottage and a nice feeling to have your own little house. Very well appointed and beautifully bright. Good starting point for many excursions in the beautiful area. The only criticism we have is that the beds squeak and the small bedrooms are not quite as lovingly designed as the beautiful living area. (Incidentally, you are not completely in the middle of nowhere, there are also a few houses nearby.) Thank you for a great time!

We stayed in Lorraines beautiful home for 3 nights and we had the most amazing stay. The house was absolutely spotless , really comfortable beds, beautiful views and had every possible thing that we could need. The house is in a great location, close to lots of shops, amenities and beautiful beaches. Lorraine was so helpful and responsive and gave us great information and recommendations. We can't wait to stay again.

Stylish 4 bedroom cottage with indoor wood stoves

CiaraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Kevin was a great host and made us feel at home right away with local Irish soda bread, jam and butter! The kitchen was well stocked with lots of basic ingredients and spices, great selection of appliances and utensils, and a very open design plan. The views from the master bedroom and kitchen are stunning and the bathrooms were beautiful! Beds were comfy and the books and movie selections made for very cozy evenings at home. We took several long walks through the beautiful countryside from our house, and enjoyed driving around the local towns. We had a steep learning curve driving on Irish country roads, but we got the hang of it and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Kevin's recommendations for local restaurants, hikes, and things to do were spot on! We had a great time at the Corner Bar for drinks and live, local music one night, and had a great breakfast at the Courthouse Bakery. Absolutely fantastic stay in Donegal!

Red Tin Roof Cottage, Portnoo Donegal. Sea->6mins

KateRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Stay here! What an incredible find- we're so glad we booked this house. What we loved: We loved the serene location- it was SO peaceful. Surrounded my beautiful hills, farms, trees. Portnoo is the perfect place to wind down- beautiful beaches, a stunning golf course, and lots of restaurants and coffee shops a short drive away. The house is stunning- it's been immaculately renovated, with no detail overlooked. It looks like a magazine. The beds, linens, towels, etc are all new and comfortable. There were lots of games if you have a rainy day. The kitchen has everything you need to cook up a meal if you so desire. We met our lovely host, Caroline,, who was kind enough to string up a line for me for laundry! We enjoyed our time here so much- we hope to return some day and spend longer!

River Cottage Retreat~Sauna~Cold Plunge~Waterfall

ViktorRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our stay at River Cottage felt less like checking into an Airbnb and more like stepping into Anna and Luke’s thoughtfully curated retreat. Nestled beside a usually gentle stream, the cottage offered a rare kind of quiet. We found ourselves unwinding in ways we hadn’t expected. As if the place itself were helping us silence the usual rush of thoughts. The sauna and cold plunge, discreetly positioned at the water’s edge, added a touch of simple luxury. They blended seamlessly into the natural surroundings rather than standing out as flashy extras, even when lit up at night. We explored the surrounding area by car and found Sligo to be the perfect complement to the cottage’s peaceful seclusion. My wife and I already feel drawn back to this little slice of Ireland - eager for another chance to recharge in the calm that Anna and Luke have created. We’re also looking forward to seeing their next ideas come to life.
