Very pleasant stay, because the arrival time was late at night, I was very worried about whether the check-in would be smooth, the host gave very detailed instructions and reserved bath water, the room was very clean and tidy, all facilities were complete, and I hope to come again in the future.

Tatami twin room with sea views-Sen Guesthouse

I thought there was no bus stop, and I didn't expect there to be a small station specially set up for the B&B, which stops at the door, which is super convenient. The host is an international couple who can speak Japanese and English, and it is convenient to communicate. The host provided great service, proactively asked about travel plans and advice on route planning. It was nice to relax the next morning just to drive to town, and it was nice to be able to start eating with us an hour early.By the way, the room has a sea view, calm and decompression, a very good experience.

10 seconds to the sea. Limited to one group per day, half-house rental - HATOYA HOMESTAY - Kayak experience in the summer!

I spent a wonderful stay in the Takamichi san and his family places. If you want to relax, enjoy the beauty of nature and the kindness of the japanese people, come to this place. Takamichi san and his family are lovely, always available to help you to spent the best time in Shodoshima. The breakfast was sooooo good ! There made their own bread and jam, and as a French I can say that the bread is really good. The house is in front of the sea, and it’s really peaceful and the sunset is nice ! Also they running a beautiful café close to the Airbnb, I recommand you to pay a visit !

Naoshima Juju Kiseki House

PatriciaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This beautiful, tranquil home is at the end of a quiet street but very close to the port and lots of good restaurants. The home is very charming with lovely art and a very authentic Japanese vibe. Be aware that while the ceilings are tall, the thresholds between rooms are approximately 5’8”. There are 2 separate bathroom spaces; one has a lovely shower room and sink and the other has a toilet and sink. The kitchen is well equipped. There is a 7-11 very close by and a co-op market also within walking distance
