Best Airbnb! Our hosts were fantastic! Paulo's house is absolutely wonderful and off the beaten track. A true haven of peace, surrounded by nature, tastefully decorated, far from the noise of the city. Paulo is the perfect host: always available to help, attentive, very attentive, and very kind. You immediately feel welcome, like you're at home! We loved our experience and are leaving with wonderful memories. Very good host! She welcomed us with a lot of information and good recommendations for restaurants and visiting Lisbon. The cleaning was impeccable. However, there was a smell of dampness present. Maybe just the concrete buildings that cause this, as we are not used to this smell in Quebec. The small intimate corner is inviting! Thank you Annabella for your warm welcome!

Sintra is a magical destination. So many people make it a day trip from Lisbon and, in so doing, miss out on the heart of this community. We were thrilled that Hugo and Laura provided this opportunity for us to more fully explore this amazing place. Their Casa das Rosas is exactly as described, very compact and usable. It takes a little getting used to the arrangement of floors with bedroom and shower on the top floor and bathroom and kitchen two floors below, but it works. Laura and Hugo are most gracious hosts and we received very clear instruction regarding parking, entry, use of space and departure. The welcome gifts were much appreciated as well. Great shower! Well equipped kitchen. We would recommend this place to anyone who is OK with climbing stairs.

We had a wonderful time in Vale da Palha! The accommodation was very nicely located – in the middle of the countryside – and there was an incredible amount of space in the garden to relax and linger. An absolute highlight! Our own terrace was in the sun all day, perfect for breakfast, reading or just enjoying the peace. The accommodation was perfectly equipped, we really lacked nothing – everything we needed was there. The location is quiet and you need a car for the area, but you can also wonderfully spend time in Xander's huge garden. Another highlight was the five chickens that visited us regularly – as well as the friendly cats and dogs on the property. We like to think back to this beautiful time and can only highly recommend a stay here! ☀️🐓

If you want a real local Sintra experience then this is your place. Charming house with a lot of character, charm and history. We were a group of 6 and cooked in for dinner 2 of the three nights. Very close to town center for walking. It’s a very hilly town so if you like walking it’s great for you. Maria could not have been nicer.

Beautiful villa with pool. Everything was impeccable.

The apartment is located in a very quiet location in Sintra and is equipped with everything you need for your stay. The private parking right in front of the entrance is very convenient. Patricia is a really sociable and helpful person and welcomed us very warmly. Really a great experience ☺️

We loved our stay!! Joao was very attentive & checked on us a couple of times which I appreciated. Very comfortable home in a great location. We took an Uber from the bus station & walked everywhere while we were there. It was only a few days this time but will definitely be back!

Great little apartment, the kitchen is very well equipped, close to supermarket and the beach. Paula was very responsive and helped us organize an airport transfer. We had a great stay!

Our stay with Artur in the Sun and Castleview Apartment was nothing short of wonderful. Artur and his parents were welcoming, friendly, and had clear communication. The apartment was clean and easy to access many Lisboa sites and neighborhoods. You do need to climb 4 flights of stairs to get to the apartment but that didn’t bother us. The view and accommodations are well worth the steps. The personal welcome from Artur’s family, wine, pastries, orange juice (for our underage child), and coffee made us feel welcome and right at home. Thanks for an amazing stay!

beautiful, spacious apartment in great location. added bonus of an outside terrace to relax after a busy day. very close to train station where hop on/off buses and tuk tuks will take you to all the sights. trains make it a little noisy, but worth it for the location. plenty cafes and restaurants around

Beautiful apartment, amazing view and plenty of space. We had just two of us but there would be loads of room if four people were staying. Balcony was the main draw for us, and the air con around the apartment made it even better in the heat. Filipa was super helpful when we arrived, showing us how everything worked and leaving us with tips for the neighbourhood. Highly recommend!

Luis & Beatriz are amazing hosts. The home was beautiful and so quiet and peaceful. The grounds were AMAZING and peaceful. We truly enjoyed our time there and will look forward to returning in the future. We highly recommend this property for those visiting the Terrugem/Sintra area. The Oak Cafe was wonderful for brunch and you must have dinner at least 1 night at Azenhas do Mar, for the food and views as well as Mercado Saloio located in Sintra for the nightly music and delicious food and good service. The spa in Cascais is amazing as well. All recommendations of Luis & Beatriz Other places we found were the Marina and shops in Cascais as well as a wonderful little eatery for brunch/ lunch called Mugs Brunch and Cafe in Pedregal. Amazing views and delicious food. Thanks Luis & Beatriz for making our first trip to Portugal amazing. Looking forward to returning.

This is a beautiful house with amazing views, it’s just like the pictures! It’s nicely decorated and you have everything you need in the kitchen. Two big terraces/balconies with lovely sunsets. You need a car to get around the area. Ericeira is a beautiful town! Our communication with Ana was very smooth. I high recommend this place!

Everything about this place exceeded our expectations! This is the first Air BnB I have stayed in where the rooms are even nicer than the pics! We stayed here with our adult children for 8 days and absolutely loved it! The property is nicer than some 5 star resorts we have stayed in. The kitchen has anything you could possibly need and the bathrooms were stocked with plenty of towels and washcloths. Bedrooms were comfortable and quiet! Rui and Teresa greeted us upon arrival and were responsive anytime we had questions. There were restaurants within walking distance but also Ubers and Bolts were plentiful and inexpensive. I can’t recommend it enough! Thank you Rui and Teresa!

The villa was absolutely lovely and in a great location. Andreia was a fantastic host and very responsive.

This place was perfect for what we were looking for. We needed somewhere that could accommodate 9 of us, 6 adults and 3 children under 3. The house itself was beautiful, very tidy and had so much space. The hosts Ana and Nuno had thought of the children and provided us with cots, high chairs, children’s dinnerware, and even things for the children to play with. The swimming pool was gated off as described. The location felt really private and quiet, with beautiful views of the sea. We were able to walk down to the local shops and beach of Praia das Maçãs, so we didn’t need to hire a car. Ana was so friendly and helpful before and during our stay. We had such a lovely time here, and would love to come back one day.

We had a fabulous stay at Villa Altus with seven adults and four kids. The house was clean and comfortable and had plenty do space for everyone. The kids loved the playroom and the games room, and we all enjoyed the fantastic heated pool. The setting is spectacular amongst the vineyard covered hills, and we ate all of our meals outdoors. It was an easy drive to the coast, where we found beautiful beaches and great restaurants. Lina was wonderfully helpful, and let us check in early and out late, which was great for the babies’ nap schedules. The rooms also have blackout shutters, which helped them adjust to the time change. She provided cribs and high chairs for them. We were also really happy that the pool area is fenced and gated, which made it easier for parents to relax during meals on the patio! Finally for the adults, the showers are amazing. Great pressure and really hot water. I’d recommend Lina and Villa Altus to anyone. It really was perfect.

Elsa is a wonderful Host, just like her incredible villa. From the reservation, through the arrival to our departure, we were accompanied with kindness and benevolence throughout this experience. The house is ideal for hosting a large family, or groups. We had an extraordinary stay, in complete privacy, in this vast and comfortable place. This is a magical place and we are very thankfull that we could make it our home for a long weekend. It was beautiful from the inside and the outside. With cosy corners to sit and read by yourself, or nice bigger tables to eat or chat with the whole group together. The pool, the view, it is even more breath taking then on the pictures.
