Our stay at this property was outstanding. Marc was exceptionally accommodating, particularly with our late check-in, and his hospitality made us feel very welcome. The location served as an ideal home base for our exploration of Cape Breton and the Cabot Trail. We highly recommend this place to future travelers and sincerely hope to return in the future.

Very responsive and friendly host! He provides us with electric bikes to visit the surroundings. The accommodation has everything you need to live there and cook good meals. The place is beautiful with access to the beach about 5 minutes' walk. I highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful stay! As other reviews said, there was a smell upon entering (mothballs perhaps?), but didn't bother us and didn't notice it after a while. Although it is dated (that's part of the charm), the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, the beds are comfortable, and the view was perfect. Overall we enjoyed our time there!

Beautiful apartment, everything is new and so well decorated. Lovely hosts. Bed is very comfortable! Great location to visit the National park. Be sure to stop by Freya and Thor cafe just up the road - amazing coffee and baked goods.

This was a cozy place for our family of four in the heart of Cheticamp. It’s close to grocery, bakeries, and local restaurants, and we loved being on the water and so close to the Cabot Trail/National Park. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean, and the deck was relaxing. This definitely was a great place to stay for the activities we wanted to do in the area.

Perfect accommodation for a stay on the islands! Very well located, nice and very pleasant, best spot for sunsets! I highly recommend it, the hosts are very welcoming and the accommodation is well-equipped, pleasant and close to everything!

We just returned from 10 days at Ocean Hideaway in Pleasant Bay. This place is just magical. It sits on a cliff overlooking a vast bay of water where we often saw whales, seals, and dolphins. The sunsets were spectacular every evening! The house is just off the main road but completely secluded, quiet and inviting. Daniel provides all sorts of personal touches from a coffee bar complete with an assortment of syrups, caramels, mini marshmallows ,and chocolates; to extra thoughtful amenities like tooth brushes and tooth paste. The kitchen is a fun space to prepare anything from morning coffees to full blown dinners. We wish we never had to leave!

Melina's place was pretty much as advertised. She was very responsive whenever we had a question. The nearby path down to the river is very much a work in progress, so it's somewhat hazardous. The walk to the beach (which is quite rocky) is challenging. The place is certainly rustic and off the beaten track, so you definitely need to want that kind of experience to choose it. We were disappointed in the nearby Pleasant Bay restaurants so we drove to Cheticamp for better options for dinners. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay at Melina's place.

We loved this place and location. Perfectly walkable to the beach and LM Montgomery sites, and a short drive to restaurants and cafes. The place was as pictured, with great touches like music playing when we arrived and laundry detergent at the ready. We loved the hot tub, and RK was extremely responsive and helpful. Because we were there on the shoulder season, we needed some guidance on open restaurants and grocery stores, and RK was at the ready!

The house is located between the Cabot Trail and the ocean. The view is SPECTACULAR ! The house is lovely inside and out. They really thought of everything you need to enjoy your stay. For example three options to make your coffee ( pods , drip or French press). We did all breakfasts and a couple of dinners at the house . Nice Weber grill on the deck. We were there for four nights in October so enjoyed the beautiful fall colours . We went fly fishing on the Margaree River for salmon for a few days . The Dancing Goat in Margaree is a little gem for lunch. Great food and coffee. We drove along the coast to Cheticamp for a couple of dinners. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property and house. Loved sitting by the lake having coffee. We came to enjoy the colours of fall and they were amazing. Not a lot open this time of year but driving to find places was just more opportunity to see the incredible landscape. Nicola was an exceptional host. House had everything we needed. Thanks again for having us.

Well what can we say about our amazing stay at Luis and Jayne’s house. Without a doubt this was our best ever experience staying in an Air b&b. This house was awesome, well situated, clean and so homely. Everything that you needed was provided and after traveling for 10 days it was a delight to see a washing machine. Our hosts communicated and checked in with us which was great. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this house to anyone traveling in Cape Breton.

Had a great week! The unit was stocked with everything we needed, absolutely spotless. Loved the book, that had the history and things to do in Cheticamp. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you so much, we look forward to coming back again one day.

The condo was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The views from the living room and balcony were even better than the photos, and we loved falling asleep to the sound of the ocean crashing on the beach. Our only regret is not booking a second night!
