However, the only issue was that in the photos it seemed to be a totally independent space, but the kitchen is shared, which was not a problem, but for those who want to cook a lot and make elaborate recipes, keep this in mind. The kitchen was amazing—perfectly equipped for cooking—and we loved spending time on the beautiful rooftop terrace. The apartment was peaceful and quiet, yet super accessible to everything we needed. Robert and Dace were wonderful hosts on their beautiful property! Their kids had fun with our kids and even led a tour. My whole family had a great time learning about agroforestry and native plants. We would recommend staying there to anyone who wants to learn about Brazilian mountain living or permaculture or just to have a relaxing time. The mountains were breathtaking and we saw so many types of plants, animals, and mushrooms on our trip.
