RL Puriran: Ivatan Stone House KALAPAY Garden View

CharlesRating, 5 stars1 month ago
From the very beginning, Miss Jona was very accommodating. She reached out to us a day before the check-in to ensure that we were pushing through with our trip and to ask whether we needed airport transfer accommodation. It took us a while to find the place but she was very responsive and we were checked-in in no time at all. She was even willing to move the check-in time earlier given that our flight arrived at 8 AM and check-in wouldn't be for another few hours. All throughout the trip, responses to requests were very prompt. Recommendations for places to eat at nearby were spot-on. Miss Jona always checked in to see what time we wanted to have breakfast the next day. Finally, her brother who helps manage the place even offered free airport transfer from the house. If I'm ever in Batanes again, I will strongly consider staying with Ma'am Jona given the positive reception. All the best!

Ukuy's Place: Twin Room on Hill Near Fundacion

GizelleRating, 5 stars33 months ago
Highly recommended. Ukuy’s place seats in the north side of Batan Island. Our room was facing the sea. We can see Naidi lighthouse from our balcony. My favorite was catching the sunrise in the morning. We were also able to see sunset on the rooftop. The view is legen (wait for it) dary. :) The host, Kristine, is very accommodating and prompt in answering questions. Appreciate the fact that even though she’s some place else, she made sure that all was set for our vacation. Ate Grace, hotel staff, was so accommodating as well. She also checks up on us if we made it home/safe. Breakfast was ok. They don’t serve lunch and dinner. Though there is a restaurant (Cafe de Tukon-also a must try!) just walking distance and they’re open on Fri, Sat & Sun. Since we arrived, Thursday, we opted to go to town for lunch and dinner. All in all. The experience, the place, and people are all wonderful. Kapyan kapa nu Dios. Dios Mamahes!

Baletin Hometel: Twin Sharing Bed (Room #7)

ErrianneRating, 5 stars28 months ago
Ms. Kristine is very helpful and responsive. We booked Baletin Hometel which is a simple place but is clean, offers flexible check-ins, and near to the market and plaza so it's nice to walk around. The people are all friendly and hospitable. We got Chanpan Tours Services for our tours and sulit! Will definitely go back and stay longer.

Ukuy's Place: 2F WAKAY Large Balcony Perfect View

EricRating, 5 stars29 months ago
Ukuy's Place is a gem on a fairly undeveloped island of Batanes-- It is clean, with spare and comfortable rooms, and has friendly helpful staff with tasty Filipino breakfasts. It sits on top of a hill, with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean to the East and North China Sea to the west. The air is fresh and there are many pastoral walks, amidst the caribao and local farms. It is a few miles (and a motor tricycle ride) from Basco, so there is just one restaurant nearby (Fundacion), which is quite good, for lunch and dinner. Kristine was a superb host, who helped us at every step with early check-in, ground transport, tours, and food recommendations.

CASA DOMINGO BATANES

LeslieRating, 5 stars30 months ago
This stay was great, very near the airport. The Aimer was very friendly and welcoming. The receptionist was suuper friendly and made me feel like this was my home, food provided at the stay was so good - it was Filipino food which I appreciated, this made me appreciate the culture more which is the reason why I wanted to visit Batanes. Everyone was so friendly, I could just walk around by myself and feel safe. Expect to have a small town vibe - which adds to the authenticity of what the islands are all about. They also offer/recommend a great Tour Package. I could not have asked for the Perfect 2 day stay in Batanes. A much needed alone time away from the busy city life and not think about much and away from people and just reflect. If you’re looking for a stay and tour, this is a 100% recommendation!
