Waterfront holiday rentals in Majkovi

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden die Unterkunft definitiv weiterempfehlen! Die Anreise war ein bisschen schwierig, weil man das Gefühl hat, dass da eigentlich keine Autos fahren dürfen und auch Google Maps hat es uns nicht einfach gemacht. Wenn man aber vom Strand kommt und der Straße dem Berg hoch folgt, ist es kein Problem.

Wonderfully appointed apartment in the very heart of Dubrovnik. It benefits from a private entrance and gives you a feeling of staying in your own house! All the facilities in the apartment are high end and finished to the highest standard. You are in a great location just a short walk to all the touristy spots and seafront. Apartment had everything we required including toiletries, coffee, sugar, milk, plenty of towels, high quality bed linen, super fast WiFi connection. The host was always responsive and provided us with very comprehensive check in instruction videos which made the arrival process much smoother for us especially after a flight. I highly recommend this apartment and will visiting again!

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment, it has everything we needed - perfectly equipped. Stunning views of the bay, great base for our week in Dubrovnik. The hosts have been super helpful with hints and recommendations for restaurants and places to visit in the area. Highly recommend!

We had an awesome experience at Ivana's place😊. We have a lot of highlights but can only mention few here. We were travelling with an infant and had no car seat with us, Ivana was kind enough to arrange a taxi with baby car seat for us. She also offered us early check in as the place was available, which we were so hoping for as we checked out of our previous accommodation at 11:00 and with a baby is a hot summer day it would have been a nightmare. Then we reached the place and it is more than what we expected, not just the place but the small details that Ivana had put down for us. She placed a baby cot in the bedroom and lots of toys for our baby ❤️. The place was super clean and Ivana has decorated it tastefully. She also kept some refreshments for us. we had lots of questions which she patiently answered. The place is easily accessible with both public transport and by your own car. The old town is just 20 mins away and buses have good frequency. The area is quite and peaceful.

Wow, this place was absolutely amazing, the views were spectacular and the apartment was spotlessly clean. Mateo has been extremely responsive from start to finish and was always going the extra mile, for an example I asked just on the off chance if there was cushions for the loungers at the apartment, there wasn’t but Mateo turned up the next morning with sun lounger cushions, he literally went above and beyond, I would 100% recommend this apartment you will not be disappointed

Très bel emplacement à 25 minutes à pied de la vieille ville. La vue sur la mer le long de la promenade pour se rendre est magnifique. La terrasse est vaste avec une superbe vue.

Ivana’s flat is really quite special. We chose it for the location and views and it did not disappoint. The beach out the window was delightful…we will hold such special memories of this place! The location was perfect…just outside the walled city, but 80% less crazy than i sode the walls. The flat is small (we are a family of four), but it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and we spent most of our time outside or looking out the windows at the gorgeous views. Ivana was such an incredible host. She is so friendly and helpful, which we appreciated so much! She arranged for transport to and from the airport and answered every question. We felt like guests and appreciate Ivana and other locals sharing their beautiful country with us!

Superbe appartement avec une vue magnifique ! Le logement est bien placé (20-25 minutes de marche jusque la vieille ville) et propre. Hôtes très gentils et accueillants. Je recommande !

This place is absolutely superb. It's a few metres from the beach with amazing views. It's roughly a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of Cavtat. The family are lovely people and very helpful. The apartments are modern and clean with all amenities. At night put the anti mosquitoes adapter on, which are supplied and kept in the bed side drawer. I thoroughly recommend booking this place.

We spent a lovely week at the beautiful River House, it is in a great location and in beautiful surroundings. Katarina was a wonderful host providing clear and timely communications, keeping in touch throughout. We were spoilt by mum who lives nearby bringing treats. I would highly recommend River House as a home from home in Mlini.

If you are visiting Mostar you must stay here!! We absolutely loved our stay. The location is perfect. Just a short walk to the old town but super private. The apartment itself is super clean, tidy and fresh. But the absolute shining treasure of the place is the balcony. You get an absolute perfect view of Stari Most (and get to see all the dives) whilst not having to be part of the massive crowds. The neighbours were lovely and polite and it was lovely to say hello on a morning! Side recommendation for Mostar—please go to Art House "Mujaga"! Such a beautiful gallery and the owners are so lovely and friendly. We got so many beautiful original pieces whilst supporting local artists and it’s just up the road :) Thank you Armel and Josipa for such a beautiful and wonderful stay. We hope to see you again soon!

Nautimme viikon kesäasunnosta, omasta rannasta ja kauniista kukkivien pensaiden ympäröimästä pihasta. Erittäin hyvä kohde majoittua lämpimään vuodenaikaan. En tiedä mikä olisi ollut parempi paikka meille, kaksi teini-ikäistä, kaksi senioria ja kaksi keski-ikäistä. Lauttayhteydet toimivat Cavtatiin ja Dubrovnikiin, samoin über kuljetus. Meillä oli vuokra-auto, mutta sesonkiaikana parkkipaikkojen löytäminen on haastavaa ja siksi julkinen liikenne suositeltava tapa liikkua. Rantaa pitkin kulkevan kolmen sadan metrin kävelyreitin kautta pääsee talolle, joten liikuntarajoitteisille paikka on ehkä hieman haastava. Marko on avulias ja ystävällinen majoittaja, joka piti huolen että mitään ei puuttunut ja avusti laukkujen kanssa. Viereisen hotellin uima-allaskin olisi ollut käytössä. Meille riitti meri, snorkkelit ja Markon kautta saatu Sublauta. Vahva suositus kohteelle!

I cannot praise the host Tatjana and the Villa White Lady enough. Tatjana was very helpful and always responsive to our questions. The villa was stunning, set in a beautiful location. It is 15 mins from the old town, and close to some excellent restaurants and beautiful views. The villa was spotless, and exactly like the photos. The bedrooms are all a great size. Kitchen well equipped. The swimming pool was so welcome in the heat. We have had a great holiday and will certainly be back to beautiful Croatia.

The villa is compact but perfectly formed. It had everything we needed. The outside space is fantastic and we spent most of our time outside when at the villa. I was aware of the small public beach just to the side of the villa from previous reviews but it didn't trouble us as it wasn't very busy. Definitely take beach shoes as there are sea urchins, thankfully we did. 😊. Sobra is a great base for the island. Central location means you can visit Pomena/Polace one day and then visit Saplunara another day. Glad we had a car as definitely needed to get the most out of the island. Would highly recommend the e-bikes in the National Park. We were greeted by Ana's mum who was super friendly and very helpful. Ana was very helpful and reached out via text a couple of times to make sure we were OK. The use of the kayak was brill. Our son loved that.

It was a super nice week in Jelena’s place. We needed a beautiful getaway and that is what we got. Jelena is very friendly, responsive, and her advises and insights improved our stay. Perfect place for couples and families with not too small kids (since there are lots of stairs and the place is on a slope). We can also highly recommend a full day boat trip with a skipper.

Ana’s apartment was exactly as described. It is very well equipped and had everything we needed for our toddler (cot, high chair and some toys). The surrounding are very peaceful and view from balcony excellent. Our toddler enjoyed watching all the boats go past, as did we but it still felt private. Location is good - less than 15 minutes outside Dubrovnik. We had a car so I can’t comment much on public transport apart from I did see buses go past near to the apartment. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Lovorka and her family were extremely friendly and welcoming. They even invited us for dinner - which we were super grateful for. Their home is the perfect vacation home - it has its own private beach, where we sat and watched cruises and boats sail by. We swam in those lovely transparent waters every day, never getting enough! The entire apartment has been elegantly renovated and is only 15 minutes driving from Dubrovnik. The rooms are spacious and the beds confortable. It would have been nice to have comforters and extra pillows, as well as a center table in the living room, as there is only one small side table and not enough space to place things. The bathrooms were clean. We had a great vacation, were able to rest and disconnect. Old town Dubrovnik is beautiful. We had dinner there several times at lovely restaurants. Overall, we are super happy having stayed at Lovorka's home and hope to return next year. Thank you!

The apartment instantly sets you in a blissful mood. Natalia is an outstanding host, thoughtful and caring. The location is another highlight - you get to the house walking through gardens, just a short walk to a sandy beach. The beach has beautiful view, it's peaceful in mornings and late afternoons. And when it's more busy - you have your own patio to enjoy. Koločep is a little paradise, all green, paths with beautiful views, many spots to relax... Staying overnight let's you experience it's full tranquility. And Natalia's place is absolutely perfect for that!

Waren das 1.Mal in der Gegend, für ein Paar mit kl Hund gut passend. Alles war wie beschrieben, Strand und Restaurants in 5min fußläufig erreichbar. Die Wohnung hatte alles was man braucht, tolle überdachte Terasse, parken war direkt vor der Wohnung möglich. Luka war immer erreichbar und hat gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Sehr nett und freundlich. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

My Partner and I visited Mljet last year for a day trip and immediately fell in love. We were delighted to come back to Croatia for the third time and to be able to stay in such a beautiful place like this. Jelena was very helpful and responsive. Would highly recommend this host !! We had such a lovely few days at this beautiful apartment. The terrace was one of our favourite spots, along with the beach just across the road. Location is perfect, just a 15 minute bus ride into the old town. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

We had a fantastic stay at Ivo’s apartment in Lumbarda. The location is perfect and the photos struggle to capture the beauty of view you get from the front terrace (there are two terraces!). Nothing separates you from the sea apart from the local road to the centre of town. There are a couple of very small sandy beaches in the town but 15 minutes walk to a beautiful large sandy beach. If you have a car we recommend Pupnatska Luka as our favourite beach - windy small road to get there but its worth it! Ivo and his wife were perfect hosts - lovely to deal with and very helpful. The apartment is bright open and spotless with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We would love to come back in the future.
