Apartment holiday rentals in Malibu

Overall a great place to stay in Malibu. Ideal location on the beach with its own private entrance. The house was complete furnished as described. If you plan to airbnb keep in mind that this place uses a septic tank. If you are not used to the smell of the septic tank it may throw you off. It wasn't a nasty smell but a unique odors that we needed to address occasionally with candles and airing out the unit.

Place is as advertised. What made this a stand-out experience was Linda's clear communication and helpfulness. Right from reservation, she was proactive with directions/instructions on how to make the best of our stay. Linda is also a gracious host. She extended the booking window for her place when we faced issues making payment, checked in with us to make sure we had all we needed, and gave us a later check-out. Very responsive and warm. Thank you Linda!

We had a great stay at Amanda's condo. Her communication was excellent from start to finish, which we really appreciated. The location of the condo is excellent and the views are spectacular. The beach is a very short walk from the condo, which is well equipped with beach chairs and other beach amenities. The Stand is also right down the Hill, where one can bike or job along the Ocean. There were also several very good restaurants within walking distance of the condo. Overall, it's a great place to stay with a very cool feel in a really beautiful setting in a location that has a cool vibe and makes us want to come back someday.

My wife and I have visited the West Coast many times from Cincinnati, staying in places like Hermosa and Manhattan Beach. This was by far the best place we’ve stayed. The location is unbeatable - literally right on the beach. The surrounding area is fantastic, and we ended up eating at Mickey’s for nearly every meal. It’s just a block away and the food was outstanding. The Hermosa Beach Pier is also a short walk away, offering plenty of great spots to eat, drink, and explore.

Alexandra's place is spotless! And the kitchen is extremely well stocked. We felt fortunate this apartment was available as it met our needs very nicely.

This was one of the most beautiful locations I have stayed at! I am an avid traveler and advisor, so I have stayed MANY places. This was my first visit to Malibu specifically, and Bill and his space were nothing short of amazing. You can hear the waves from anywhere in the home, and it is so peaceful. All of the linens and towels were cleaned, with ample amounts of extra pieces! There was also MULTIPLE different kinds of shampoos and conditioners that were provided, plus small things you may not think about such as cotton balls and Bobby pins. The kitchen has all condiments and every utensil you may need to cook! We felt safe and secure, and the neighbors were also so kind and lovely. The secured parking structure and entrance was helpful and the shared pool and hot tub were a great addition. This is a 10/10, and in walking distance to Nobu and other popular restaurants! If you are thinking of booking here, do not hesitate!

Pros: the place is very conveniently located, linens on the bed were so soft and comfortable. Kitchen had great appliances and amenities. Pool is heated and quite pleasant. Can walk to the Malibu Pier. Cons: beach felt isolated from the “action”, but for some this would be a positive since it’s pretty private. Biggest issue was cell service. Not home owners fault, but I have Verizon and had no service while in the condo. Like, no bars / SOS message. And then when I left the condo and went to the pool I had no WiFi or cell service. Not a huge deal but a minor inconvenience worth pointing out.

My wife and I stayed here while I attended a conference 45 minutes away, inland. I’m so glad we stayed where we did because of the views. Not difficult to get around. Grocery store and restaurants are not a far drive away. The place had everything we needed. Older adults, so pretty quiet. You can see and hear the ocean from the condo. Host was quick to respond to any questions.

Great roomy two-bedroom in a great location. Easy parking location to the condo. Hope to stay here in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Mark and Camille’s place! My husband and our dog felt right at home in this cozy, charming space. The studio has a warm, homey feel and is located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood that was perfect for dog walks. Mark and Camille were gracious and welcoming hosts, and we truly appreciated the peaceful backyard nook, it was the perfect spot to relax. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and pet-friendly getaway.

Fantastic place to stay, helpful instructions from the host, impeccably clean and a perfect location for us, as we wanted to be able to visit both LA and San Diego so being between the two made it so easy. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay around orange!

Booked for the rooftop pool view and it did not disappoint. The parking spot was a nice bonus. The unit itself was nice. Comfy bed, big tv, very clean. As others mentioned, it’s very bright; bring an eye mask if you don’t want to be up with the sunrise.

This was a grate last minute booking. San allowed me to check in early so I could get ready for plans later that night. The place was in a great location if you want to be a tourist! It did have a noticeable smell to it but there was candles in the unit and that took care of the smell. Over all I would recommend staying here to anyone and would book again

Christian was a great host and his apartment was perfect for our family staying at DTLA. He had all the supplies we needed and it was a comfortable stay! Although the nearby area itself didn’t feel safe, arriving to his apartment building with friendly security put us at ease. If you are driving, there’s a nice arrangement with a parking garage across the street that Christian helps out with. That was super helpful!

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was beautiful. The location was so convenient; we went to the bar next door for cocktails, walked to whole food… so much near by. The bed was super comfortable and it was a bonus using the hot tub and seeing the sunset lit skyline on the roof top. I was concerned it might be noisy but it was not at all. I did not hear anything in the bedroom where I need quiet for sleep. It was truly perfect! Malcom was an amazing host, very responsive and allowed us to check in early as we had arrived earlier from our trip overseas. Wonderful stay!

The only thing that would be better is later checkout. June Gloom in LA makes an afternoon the best time to be in or near a pool, and it is sooooo lovely up on the roof. Beds and pillows were comfy, kitchen was well equipped, tv worked well and the couch was comfy to hang out on,too!

Perfect place to stay when coming in to play at Six Flags, Universal and spending time with family! Location with great for all that we needed. The house was comfortable and welcoming. Duane made sure that snacks were provided, AC was on and ready for us in a hot day, and the ease and safety of using the house. Things that we noticed and appreciate that aren’t always standard was detergents to use washer and dryer, soft fluffy towels, access to good TV/screaming options and high quality toilet paper. Not deal breakers or to ding a place in my opinion but these little things that make it feel more like home away from home don’t go unnoticed. We would definitely stay again and would recommend to others coming to the area.
