We had a lovely stay. The walk to the cave paintings was a lot of fun. There was more to do on the farm than we anticipated. We could have spent the whole weekend there without going out. That being said, its close to Bethlehem, Clarens and the Golden Gate Highlands Park, and we made full use of that. Will have to come back to explore the farm to its fullest.

Hilda was so friendly and nice. We felt quite at home.

Majweng Log Cabin Retreat – A Peaceful Mountain Escape Our stay at this log cabin retreat was nothing short of magical. Nestled right in the heart of nature and surrounded by breathtaking mountains, the location couldn’t have been more perfect. It felt like a private hideaway, tucked between towering peaks and lush greenery — the kind of place that makes you instantly slow down and breathe deeper. The cabin was warm, welcoming, and beautifully maintained. It had all the essentials, plus little touches that made the stay feel special. Mornings were serene, with mist rolling off the mountains and the sounds of birds echoing through the trees. Evenings were peaceful and star-filled — an ideal setting for relaxation. If you’re looking to escape into nature, unwind in complete tranquility, and wake up to postcard-worthy views, this place is it. A truly peaceful and refreshing stay.

What an amazing place, you can't help but relax. Phakiso was amazing. He checked in with us to see if we needed anything and took us on an amazing walk. We felt right at home and had an amazing time

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the farm! Duncan and Marcel were welcoming and friendly hosts, the accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the farm atmosphere was calm and peaceful. We, especially our daughter, had a fun time seeing the wide variety of farm animals. This place is definitely on our list of must-visit-again!

Poppet is very friendly, very helpful. Her staff is brilliant, they went above and beyond what we needed and did not hesitate to assist. The house is beautiful internally as well as the surrounding landscape. We had booked for one night but extended our stay an extra night due to how lovely an experience it was.

Beautiful relaxing environment

What a perfect little getaway! We felt right at home and comfortable in the beautiful farm house. It was very clean and well kept. Nestled in the mountains, but also not far from town - it's the perfect location!

We had an amazing stay at Buffalo Hills Game Reserve. The fishing was enjoyable, and the scenery was absolutely stunning – we ended up taking tons of photos! The accommodation was spacious and very comfortable. It had a cozy feel thanks to the fireplace, electric blankets, and panel heaters in the bathrooms – perfect for those cooler nights. Plus, there was plenty of firewood provided, which was a big bonus. A special mention to the caretaker, Bafana – he was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even better. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in nature with all the right comforts!

It was such a beautiful location overlooking the Bell Park Dam. Peace and tranquility at its best. I will definitely recommend this place. In addtion this is a pet friendly place with ample space for your fur babies to run around.

We absolutely LOVED our two night stay at the Twin Towers, what a unique experience! The kids loved it, and we all managed to survive the challenging hike to the cave overhang - it was definitely worth it, though. Being surrounded by the horses, Alpacas, cows and sheep was so special and the mountain view, nothing short of spectacular. Highly recommended.

Beautiful property, amazing views. Might want to bring candles for more atmospheric lighting in the evenings as the overhead lamps are very bright. Well equipped kitchen, lovely garden and easy drive into Clarens. Dogs on the property but v friendly. Lovely stay overall, we hope to come back.

Had a beautiful stay at Highlands Farmhouse. The property is immaculate and has absolutely everything you'd need for a country side type holiday. The locals are extremely friendly. The farm house has a rustic, modern feel, and it's massive. The pictures of the house, and surrounds don't do it justice. We didn't want to leave.

The place is really modern and neat. The estate is beautiful and very close to everything in Clarens - perfect balance of living space and ability to experience Clarens. Perfect place to unwind and relax.

We had a beautiful peaceful time, the cottage was just the perfect size for our family. The view is spectacular and the walks lovely. We loved the dogs coming to visit and taking us on the walk. Will definitely go back.

What a stunning spot offering beautiful gardens, world class views, comfortable facilities and it is very well located. The birdlife is tremendous including a display from a pair of Ground Hornbills.

Service with a smile from absolutely everyone at Sasi. The food was awesome! Charl, Wendy and the team were tops. Would highly recommend if you just want to relax and get away from the rat race...
