Waterfront holiday rentals in Manly

So many things to tick off - view was amazing as soon as you walk in or from the rooftop, so great fresh water in the fridge when we arrived +ice, great smelling bathroom products, handy to everything, Teri was readily available and checking in that all was good. Water pressure not fantastic but due to age of building this can be a given. Overall a lovely 4 days away with family, they gave big ticks to the wooden floors, lighting, plants and layout. Absolutely exceeded our expectations. The location is amazing, literally across the road from the beautiful manly beach and a short walk to the shops and restaurants. The apartment itself is even better than the pictures, extremely spacious and comfortable. Also very easy on the eye with designer furniture. Zoe went above and beyond as a host when we left a soggy wetsuit behind and she posted it back to us. Would definitely re book. Thanks Zoe

Had a wonderful stay for one month at this Airbnb! The hosts were so helpful, everything about the apartment was carefully thought about with what I needed for the full long stay. I couldn’t recommend enough, the balcony onto the beach has amazing sunrise views of the beach and surfers, with cockatoos visiting everyday. We had a very comfortable stay and the apartment is in pristine condition, you wouldn’t know guests have stayed before and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything from children’s kitchenware to hosting a dinner party! 10/10

This huge one bedroom apartment was very comfortable and very spacious. Massive living area and big bedroom with full sized bathroom plus 2nd toilet and large well appointed kitchen. There are a lot of personal touches that make the stay very comfortable. The views are beautiful and outdoor area is great. This is a very walkable area to Balgowlah and to Manly with a lot of very regular buses into Manly and the city as well as northern beaches. Our dog enjoyed his stay very much and loved the off leash dog park that was 3 mins away.

The apartment was clean, comfortable and in an excellent location. We came for a long weekend from Canberra with our kids. It turned out that Vivid was on and you could see some displays from the apartment balcony. John was very helpful, responsive and attentive, great host

Really enjoyed staying at the house - view of the bridge is spectacular. We went to two shows at the Opera House and hit the Galleries ... we were able to walk everywhere which was great. Suzanna was great giving us lot's of local recommendations from the pub across the road to high end options. She was very communicative and I couldn't have wished for more from a host.

Loved my week at Amanda’s. The welcome “weekly shop” (fresh basics + juice) was a lovely touch after a long journey. Quiet street, yet a quick walk to Manly Beach, cafés, and the ferry—perfect spot. Home was spotless, comfy beds, sharp kitchen, bright living space. Amanda’s fast replies and local tips sealed the deal. Five stars.

I enjoyed dealing with Kate who deserves her reputation as a super host. She was unlike some other hosts I have dealt with very flexible with check in and check out times. I really hope that I have the opportunity to stay in this lovely property again and wish her all the best

This place is absolutely fantastic and there’s nothing to fault at all! The design of the whole place is well thought out and clean. The location is incredibly beautiful. George, Patrick and Dave were super responsive and helpful with any enquiries we had. It was a wonderful stay overall and my entire family had so much fun, they can not wait to come back already. I had so many friends asking for the Airbnb listing after seeing the pictures of the place so I can only assume how hard it would be to book this place in the future! This was the most beautiful place to say - I can’t express how the even though the pictures looked amazing- they didn’t do it justice. We were blown away and that sunset on the water was breathtaking. Felt so homey and we didn’t want to leave. I will be back - just delightful and the host were so kind and accomodating. We had a wonderful stay at the Balmain house. Everything was provided for an enjoyable stay with our three grandchildren. They really enjoyed watching all of the different watercraft through the sparking clean glass balconies. The ferry was so close and convenient and we had a delicious dinner at Fenwicks at the ferry dock one night. Marika was extremely hospitable and provided us an early check in since we arrived from the states. Hated to leave.

I was in town working on a film, Victoria is amazing and The Place! Gorgeous..you get your quiet beautiful view of the ocean and surfers. You can walk over and have a delicious meal or cocktail. I hope to come back, beautiful stay.

We stayed at Daniel’s place as a family with 2 young kids. We had a long drive to get there and arrived late so I couldn’t quite work out the check in instructions I messaged Daniel and he replied instantly helping me through it! Lovely large apartment directly across from the beach. Lovely location a bit quieter than the other end but a short walk to everything. There’s a few flights of stairs which we were aware of prior to booking, was a bit tricky with the kids prams and stuff but to be expected! I can’t fault the Airbnb and loved how responsive and welcoming Daniel was :) Bonus that there’s garaged parking big enough for a 4WD. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Great spot. Very spacious and hosts were very communicative and responsive.

My wife and I stayed a week, and really enjoyed the stay. The house works well for a couple. We especially enjoyed the open living room, kitchen and dining room. The deck was wonderful too. The area was quiet at night as well. The view is fabulous and is the house's best feature. Even on a rainy day it's still lovely to stay inside, drink some coffee and read (as well as take in that view). We enjoyed walks around the Potts Point neighborhood, and it's a nice walk to the Wooloomooloo Wharf, RBG, the Art Gallery, and the Opera House/Circular Quay. There are a couple of fans, but during the mid-summer months heat might be an issue. During our stay the temperatures were moderate, and just opening the windows to catch the breeze made the house comfortable. The host was first-rate: attentive, friendly, and responsive. Thanks.

Amazing location we stayed last minute for one night in Bondi. Perfect for couple. You couldn’t get closer to the ocean and literally next to Bondi Icebergs. We will def be back.

Great place in an awesome location. Extremely easy instructions for getting in, clear and helpful instructions in the apartment. Views are amazing and the apartment is extremely well equipped. Perfect for our family stay over the long weekend.
