Arriving is already an experience: a short trail (100m) takes you to this paradise with ofurô, sauna and private deck. If you hit the mood for a swim, the Alambari River is right there! Modernist Chalet in the middle of the Forest

3000 m2 site surrounded by an Atlantic Forest in a protected area. The main house is a modernist chalet designed in 1962 by architect and artist Levy Menezes (1922-1991). The property is within the Itatiaia National Park. To access Guapuruvu Residency, you must identify yourself at the Park entrance as a residential visitor. Space not suitable for children and the elderly. Pets are not permitted in the Park. Satellite Internet.

We are at an altitude of 1,760 meters, in Mantiqueira National Park. Itamonte is in the south of Minas Gerais at the top of Serra da Mantiqueira. Our property is 25 km away from the center of Itamonte (12 km of asphalt plus 13 km of dirt road). In rainy periods (SUMMER) inquire in advance about the DIRT ROAD CONDITIONS and the weather forecast. We accept small to medium-sized dogs that ARE NOT PUPPIES.
