Mallard Cove is the best place on Lake Sutherland! Our grassy lake-front and swimming dock literally get the very last bit of sun all summer long! Our neighborhood is also full of friendly, easy going people. You should have an amazing time! The cottage was great. The lake was peaceful being tucked away and was very beautiful. The hosts were easy to communicate with and all of the amenities (fire pit, hot tub, etc.) were as listed. It also allowed great access to Hurricane Ridge and some of the northwestern parts of Olympic National Park. The only downside is that it can be a bit awkward/less private if the adjoining cottage is filled. Be prepared to share the fire pit and the kayaks. Also, some of the appliances and cooking utensils are older which could make cooking more difficult but is also part of the remote charm. Overall, great experience! I’d book this place again!

Lacey’s place was the perfect getaway. Close to great hiking and views. The lake was very peaceful and we enjoyed taking the kayaks out each night. We would definitely recommend this spot for anyone visiting this area.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean upon arrival and the views were spectacular. The deck on the lake is quite large and provides for ample space to enjoy being out by the lake plus toys for water activities. It was definitely a trip to remember and very pleased with the overall experience!

The stay at Tara's place was amazing. It's a great home and beautiful location. We traveled with a 3 year old and a 11 month old and she provided great accomodations and there was plenty to do with fun games and toys.

The convenience of having paddleboards and kayaks available was a great amenity that we thoroughly enjoyed using. Amazing gem in the Lake Crescent area. The place is beautiful for meeting sunrise on the balcony with coffee, for taking day trips to the Olympic National Park, and for having fun on the lake. The house is cozy, well-kept and maintained, kitchen is stocked with everything you need. Sean is a very gracious and respectful host. Loved this place and cannot wait to come back!

It was amazing. Very peaceful. Really good location. Extremely well decorated and had all the amenities one needs during glamping. I would definitely come back again and would definitely recommend this place to others. Summer was very responsive and made sure the stay was really comfortable. I would give it 6 stars if I could.
