The Elves' Shelter, Charming Cave Dwelling

If you appreciate authenticity, a change of scenery and calm are guaranteed in this traditional home. It is not a converted cellar but a real dwelling dug into the hillside and inhabited for more than three centuries. Furnished while keeping the original materials as much as possible, it is a cozy and warm nest with a nice enclosed garden, close to amenities. Summer and winter the temperature is pleasant, with or without heating (very efficient) depending on the needs of the weather.

Welcome to Moulin de la Motte Baudoin ! This former windmill from the late 19th century is perched on its rocky promontory and will surprise you with its stunning views of the valley as well as the Château de Saint-Aignan-sur-Cher. The mill is spread over 3 levels and a mezzanine. On the ground floor, you have a small kitchen equipped with a wood stove, on the 1st, the bathroom takes place, on the second, the bedroom with a double bed (160 cm) and finally a mezzanine under attic.

The residence of les Caves Archées is situated in the village of Bourré within close proximity of Montrichard in the Cher Valley. The house and flat attached are perched on elevated grounds with a very beautiful view of the valley. The property is set amongst vineyards and forest above and a park below it. This position makes the location of the house a haven of peace and tranquillity.

Marjorie and Yvon will be happy to welcome you in Touraine, not far from the main castles of the Loire and the vineyards of Vouvray, in their farmhouse of 220 m2. Quiet, far from the road, in a green and wooded setting of 8000 m2 and a small piece of water behind the house. Ideal to come to rest with family or friends and discover the region.

Our cottage is an old 19th century barn. It consists of a single volume, with a mezzanine bedroom. Its decor seems a nod to the surrounding castles. We are located between Montrichard and Saint-Aignan , and you are about ten miles from Chenonceaux Castle and Beauval Zoo. (We do not provide bedding. Thank you for your understanding)
