Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Margate

At first I wanted to give a bad review, just so that no one else discover this beautiful gem in Southbroom, but alas I can't. The house is absolutely stunning, with everything you need, a home away from home. The house is beautifully decorated, one immediately wants to treat the house and everything with respect. Kim's attention to detail, welcome note, Christmas decorations, communication throughout our stay was excellent. Billy her husband assisted us with something small that had to be repaired and arranged someone on Christmas eve. Billy also notified us throughout our stay of what is happening in and around Southbroom. The house is perfectly located, easy to go for walks on the beach, trails, shops, restaurants, golf, padel, everything on your doorstep but still in a quiet and peaceful street, which is difficult during the festive season. Thank you Kim and Billy for sharing your beautiful home with us, this will definitely not be our last visit, hope to do so soon again.

Southbroom is a great holiday spot. We loved the house - gorgeous views, spacious for a family with teenagers. Lovely pool and jacuzzi. Walk down to the beach for sundowners. A real spoil with Augustine and Joslin taking amazing care of us. Super clean and well equipped.

Great place , pictures don’t do it justice. Peaceful and worth every penny

We had a fabulous 10 days at Brendan’s home in December. The house is equipped with everything you could ask for. The outdoor area is fabulous with a built in braai and bar fridge which we used a lot!! The lounge upstairs was a win with the kids and gave us all enough space to just be. Brendan was amazing at sharing information about the area and suggestions on things to do - even helping get hold of a doctor when we needed one.

We had a very pleasant stay, the place was lovely, spacious and clean with a refreshing ocean view. To top all was Elize, our host, what a lovely and kind person she is 🥰. I will definetely recommend her place to anyone looking for accommodation.

We had an awesome stay at Shale Beach House. It has everything you need; you don't have to drive anywhere. It is such a peaceful private area; the sea is literally on your doorstep. We loved the jacuzzi bath, jacuzzi and rim flow pool and the permanent ice maker, but there is so many things that make it comfortable to stay in! Wilson was a delight to deal with, had a really easy check in, he always around if you need anything. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Nelius for opening up your beautiful home!

We loved every inch of the place and made the most of the many amenities available. Beautiful interior: The design has an artistic, natural appeal, with Nicola’s personal and thoughtful touches that really showcase her creativity. Beautiful exterior and surroundings: A spacious yard perfect for a picnic, a braai area, and a stunning garden. An exceptional host: Nicola was incredibly friendly, proactive, and responsive. We felt completely at home—it was like visiting family. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for peace and serenity. We’ll definitely return. Honestly, I don’t even want to waste time looking for another place—if it’s not available, I’ll just change my dates, lol. Thank you, Nicola, for making our trip so memorable.

Beautiful views of the sea and private beach nestled in the reserve. We enjoyed being close to the beach for walks with our dogs. Exceptionally peaceful and comfortable. Our host was extremely friendly and helpful. Despite very rainy weather for a number of days we did get out about in the area for some recommended activities. We can highly recommend this property.

We had a lovely stay at the Mannikins Sea View apartment. It is spacious and offers everything you need to be comfortable. The photos doesn't do it justice. We were surrounded by trees and a variety of birds, a beautiful sea view with wales breaching..what an unforgettable experience. We felt safe in the secure small complex. We loved the tranquility and the accessibility to popular restaurants and a convenience store up the road.. walking distance from the beach and 5 mins away from country club for a game of golf.. we will definitely be back. We felt right at home. Ruben is an exceptional host and he response as soon as possible. His place is very clean , comfortable and it is as the pictures are shown. My family enjoyed every bit of the house and the pool. We'll definitely be checking in again. A great place for a family vacation

This place was such a delight. Perfect for a restful getaway, just a short walk from the beach, amazing view and beautiful apartment. Easy to check in, and safe and secure. Just didn’t have the basic amenities so bring your own.

What a lovely place! It’s not often that the place is bigger than the pics portray. A lovely, Spacious home With beautiful and neat gardens and surroundings. We took our fur baby along and it was perfect! All of us enjoyed the stay. Everything was easy and pleasant! Thank you!

Stunning home, immaculately clean. There is no TV, but great WiFi, so bring a laptop! The home has all the essentials, and a lot of little surprise extras that came in handy! Very friendly and responsive. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this beautiful property.
