Holiday rentals with beach access in Mariaville

Our stay at Pam’s place was absolutely fantastic! This is our second time staying at The Nest. The apartment was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, and had everything I needed, especially in the kitchen. We typically cook at least two meals a day and we had everything necessary. Pam was a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful throughout my stay. She stocked the fridge with eggs, butter, milk and half & half in addition to having cookies and muffins waiting for us on arrival. The location was perfect for exploring Bar Harbor and Acadia, but was far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. We especially appreciated the cozy living space, comfortable bed, and fireplace to toast our toes. We love the mini farm aspect of The Nest. Seeing the chickens, goats, mini horses, ducks, and dogs as we come and go is definitely something we looked forward too. Third year visiting Jennifer’s home and it was lovely as always. She is kind and has a wonderful home. The location, house, and hospitality keep me coming back year after year.

The experience left nothing to be desired as we were looking for a remote spot and a place comfortable and spacious enough to stay inside during bad weather and Jeff’s place checked the boxes. We were the only ones in the 2 unit home. The view is very pretty and the wildlife is plentiful. The access to the water is down a dirt embankment which leads to mud flats at low tide. Beware of the tides if you can get the kayaks down there.

The apartment was perfect for a couple. It was clean and had all amenities we needed. The views of the water from the living room were nice and sitting on the deck with coffee or a cocktail was perfect! The seats by the water made you feel like you were away from everything. The hosts were very kind.

A lovely, clean, cozy option that’s convenient to LDI, Brooklin, etc. Nancy is a wonderful host, and the place is quiet and peaceful.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! The location was amazing. Right off Main Street and totally walkable to anything in bar harbor with a parking space! It was on the right side of bar harbor to get to Acadia within 5 minutes. We loved all of the restaurants close by and the access to the park. The place was so comfortable and cozy! Beautifully decorated and warm after cold hikes in the park. We did not hear any noise at all from the hospital which is tiny compared to the hospitals in Virginia. I didn’t even notice it was there. Brianne was so kind and responsive and recommended lots of good hiking and dining options. I can’t wait to come back here again! If I could give this home 6 stars I would and I am usually a picky reviewer! We will definitely be back to the same house if we come back to Bar Harbor, which I hope we do! It’s a great base for exploring Acadia! The kitchen was well stocked and the bedroom was very comfortable. Thanks so much for sharing with us!

Will Definitely Stay Again on Next Trip! What an amazing stay right at a working marina where you have water views on 2 sides and can enjoy watching the inner workings of the life on the many lobster boats leaving every morning and returning at evening. The location was perfect for great restaurants, local shopping, and as a home base for all the hiking destinations. Arcadia Sailing is right there also; our sunset sail was picture perfect. The AirBnB was everything we had read about and hoped for. Parking was great, access convenient, the views of the harbor amazing. As met as a family from NC, TX and OH to cheer my daughter on in the MDI half-marathon. The living area was warm and comfortable, the kitchen well appointed, the bedrooms roomy with great beds and bathroom access. Everything was clean and tidy. Having a washer and dryer was a nice amenity. Molly was available to answer questions and make recommendations. The only negative was that our collective stay was too short!

Great stay for our family of 5 adults and 3 toddlers! Lots to do and great proximity to Acadia/Bar Harbor. House was well supplied with clear instructions. Brady also connected with us before the stay and kept in touch for anything that came up as a concern. Thank you!

Had a great stay with friends at Gregory’s place! The nature around was amazing and the place had everything we needed! The easy walk to the private beach was so worth it!

This was a beautiful home with a caretaker who was very available and kind. It was lovely to look at the outside pond. The home was pristine and comfortable. I would highly recommend it.

The mid-century modern home was beautiful. The curtains in the bedrooms kept the early morning sunlight at bay. The location was private. We could walk to Lamoine Beach. We visited as two adults and two kids; we all felt at home. This was by far the kid's favorite place to stay on our vacation in Maine. If you forgot your sunscreen or bug spray (both a must), the house was stocked up. The separate cottage is on the same property, and it was occupied. The visitors there were quiet and respectful, we hardly knew they where there.

We had an excellent 5-night stay, with three adults and three young children. The house is very nice, and the location, right on the water, is excellent. The grounds are kept immaculate. The location is very private, except for the additional AirBnB rental unit downstairs, which detracts only a little bit. There is a great park with a playground only a three minute walk from the house, great for young kids. Highly recommended, would definitely stay here again.

Tim’s place was absolutely perfect for our multi-generational family vacation. Everyone had all they needed and were super happy with their accommodations and the amenities at his beautiful lake house. He was very responsive and helpful. It truly felt like we were staying at a friend’s place as we had access to just about the entire house and garage, both of which were stocked with everything imaginable for a peaceful and relaxing stay on a gorgeous lake. When and if we plan another trip to Ellsworth, Tim will be my first call!

This is an amazing find! We have been to 37 states and have stayed in countless air bnbs, and this is quite possibly our favorite. The location is gorgeous! The house is packed with amenities, which we super appreciated as a family of 5. The view every morning and evening was stunning. We were able to kayak from the house, have campfires, see the stars at night, enjoy the view and TV while hot tubbing, sip tea from the balcony, hike the nearby preserve, watch the wildlife and experience the amazing tides. We would 100% stay here again and hope to after we catch the other 13 states. If you're on the fence, just book it!!

What a beautiful location and house. There’s nothing better than sitting in the living room or front porch and being able to see the Belfast Bay. The house is very clean and neat. Beds are comfortable, shower is very hot. Don’t miss the sunrise in the mornings. Overall this is one of our favorite places we have stayed in Belfast.

Patrick's place was exactly as described. We'll appointed. It was in a private and serene location. Views of the ocean from the deck and windows facing the ocean were spectacular! Patrick was extremely responsive from booking through departure. Would definitely recommend this location to anyone not wanting the hustle and bustle of the Bar Harbor area. Utterly enjoyed our stay💖✨️

Great home in a great location. Very spacious and clean and Corey was very responsive. We had 0 problems with there being a restaurant down stairs. Beautiful views of the bay and a near by field where we watched little kittens playing with each other! It was adorable. We slept great and felt right at home!

We rented both the Toddy House and Rocky House for a week for our family of 12. The houses were as described and in pristine condition. We loved the fact that they were close together, so the late night group could stay up socializing, while the children could be put to bed without distraction. The Toddy House had a pool table which provided lots of late night entertainment. It also had a large open common area to accommodate our group, and we spent a lot of time on the screened porches. We really liked the access to the water with the dock, the canoes and kayaks, and the super cool fire ring. We are the type of family that asks a lot of questions, and Mark was quick to answer and take care of any questions or issues we had. We spent a great deal of time at Acadia, and while the drive was about 45 minutes to get there, it was not a problem at all. We would definitely return to 3Havens if we decided to take another vacation in this area. Mark and Laurie were excellent hosts.
