Bike path connects this idyll with nice beaches just 5 minutes away, bikes are of course available to borrow for the whole family! Sjötorp/Göta Kanal can be reached by bike in just over 20 minutes (car 8 minutes). Skara Sommarland, Tiveden National Park, golf course, etc. are located in the nearby area! The cottage is also a perfect stop on Highway 26, on the way to the Swedish mountains!

Boat and fishing trips can be arranged by the host. Possibility to rent a smaller boat. Close to hiking trails, restaurant, nature reserve and wildlife. Bed linens, towels and parking are included.

On Storön, you can experience tranquility, far away from the city but close to nature. Storön is a car-free island with no land connection. Here you will find Lake Vänern, which offers fantastic sunsets and swimming from both cliffs and sandy beaches. We also have a fantastic forest that offers a rich plant and animal life with both gravel road and animal trails. In winter, there are nice ice rinks for long-distance skating. The staff residence is located on a farm and every day there is the opportunity to come along and feed the animals.

Our cabin is located in Sundsören right by Torsöbron. It is about 15 km to Mariestad. Both Sundsören and Torsö are very scenic areas with beautiful forests, country roads and of course water everywhere! In the nearby area, there is a store, restaurant, campsite and beach. We have a small patio as well as a large partially glazed terrace that is lovely to sit on in the evenings. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a bunk bed. In the living room there are 2 day beds of 80 cm.

We have a pretty garden where the bees and butterflies love to fly around. Perfect for children and family reunions, guests interested in staying near nature but still in contact with the civilisation ;) Your family will be close to everything when you stay at our centrally-located place!

Lots of activities can be found in the big garden. We have a large trampoline, swing set, a playroom to keep kids active. With kayaks, you can take relaxing trips in Tidans river. To enjoy fishing (free of charge), you can use our boat. Bicycles are also available. To end the day, we have a hot tub and sauna.

Uggletorp's guest house by the forest

The cottage is 4 km outside Sjötorp and 10 km outside Lyrestad. There is a possibility to get there by bicycle. Göta Canal runs through both communities where there are also cafés, grocery stores, restaurants, swimming areas and museums In the pictures, you can also see the nice Sjötorp, which is 10 minutes away by bike. A perfect cabin for hunters, outdoor enthusiasts or for those who are on the road. There are also bicycles for rent.
