Cozy converted barn with fireplace; nature retreat

Newly restored and converted barn, a magical space with lovely views of the surrounding mountains and hills. The barn is ideal for 2-3 people, but can accomodate a maximum of 5, with a double, a single and a sofa bed (access to sleeping space requires climbing stairs or a ladder). 20 metres from the barn, there is wood and a fireplace for an evening chat and stargazing by the fire. An outdoor shower with solar heated water is also available. The kitchen is functional and has amazing views!

This unique place has a style all its own. It is cozy,secluded, surrounded by fir trees, 6000sqm land. Hygienic fiberglass tub is only prepared upon request. The interior has a unique design with stylish stone and wood finishes. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, having a dining space. The fireplace completes the fairytale atmosphere. Stunning House on the Hill Beautiful traditional Transylvanian wood house completely renovated with modern details! Situated on the hill, 300m off the E60 highway, this wood house from 1810s was fully renovated in 2016 by us. We included all modern conforts: floor heating, air conditioning, high end bathroom and beds. The kitchen is equipped at the minimum level with a sink, a small refrigerator and a coffee machine.

READ BEFORE BOOKING Please note that the last 30 minutes of the journey to our cabin are on dirt roads. We recommend using a taller vehicle to ensure a smooth and comfortable drive. During winter time we highly recommend using an SUV 4x4 vehicle. This scenic route adds to the sense of adventure and seclusion, making your arrival at the cabin even more rewarding. Balnaca Traditional Nook

Learn what it means to relax at our unique bohemian nook at the entrance in the Apuseni Mountains. 4G Wi-Fi and private parking are also available to ensure a carefree stay. From October 2022 the wood-fired hot tub is available for our guests as an optional feature (please ask about availability and cost when booking)

Small house

Tiny house, located in the mountains, just an hour from Cluj-Napoca. The village of Maguri is located at about 1400 m altitude, being the settlement located at the highest altitude in Romania, inhabited all year round. Enjoy the tranquility of the village and the fresh mountain air.
