The quintessential kiwi bach, simple and functional, set in complete privacy within our farm on a stunning site high above all else. Originally hunting huts, this unique holiday home is actually four separate buildings that are linked by a large outdoor deck. We replaced roofing, renewed the decking and renovated the insides to create a unique holiday home that has a special character all its own. The front two pods are the living spaces: kitchen/dining and lounge each with stacker doors which open up onto the central deck. The two rear pods are identical in configuration, each split into a double room and a bunk room with internal access to each other, perfect for one family per pod. The bathroom adjoins the lounge and has a shower over a bath, a toilet and a double vanity. The utility room has washer, dryer and laundry tub and a second toilet. The outdoor shower on the northern deck is a completely open showering experience! Both double bedrooms enjoy the unequalled lake views and you'll wake to see the sun rising over Mount Tarawera. A genuine Stoked Hot Tub sits under a pohutukawa on the edge of the front lawn and is a perfect way to relax and enjoy the vista by day and the famous starfilled lake Tarawera sky by night. The lake bach is ideally suited for... ROMANTIC ESCAPES Think fluffy white towels, crisp sheets on a plush super king bed, relaxing together with the stunning lake and mountain backdrop, long soaks in the luxurious Stoked hot tub and cheeky outdoor shower all set in complete privacy and solitude. The kitchen and bathroom are modern with new flooring throughout. The property is fully fenced and close to several playgrounds and takeaway shops. The outdoor bath is utter bliss all year round.

Welcome to our little part of paradise, fully self contained cosy cottage, with off street parking, 5 minutes walk to the local marina and lake, stopping off for brekkie or lunch at the local cafe. For those fisherpeople you will be 10 to 20 minutes drive from world class trout/fly fishing spots. Turangi is 10 minutes drive south, with great cafes and restaurants, 40 minutes to Mt Ruapehu for fabulous skiing and the Sky Waka. Turangi is the hub for the adventure tourism activities.
