The cabin is heated and there is a modern fireplace that provides fantastic heat. We will be happy to help with trip suggestions, and other practical info. Stordalen is the north-western entrance to Stølsheimen landscape conservation area. Approximately 1.5 hours drive from Bergen. Grocery store in Ostereidet, and in Haugsvær. Mountain lodge with food service. Easy access, parking 100 meters.

Fishing and island life in Masfjorden

Unique island holiday on Raunøy in Masfjorden. A former small farm is today a place to experience nature and wildlife without disturbances. A vacation spot for fishing, paddling, swimming and finding peace. No cars or road, only tranquility, freedom, fjords and nature. The island is private and out to the island you just come by boat. If you don't have a boat yourself, we'll pick you up at Masfjordnes quay. There's free parking there too. In the island, you can use our Pioneer 15 type country house boat. A full tank is provided. Extra gas can be purchased.

Unique home in magnificent nature with mountain views

Make memories for a lifetime in this unique and family-friendly place. Here you will live in the middle of nature and all you hear is the river and bird life. It is 2 min walk to a great swimming area, 5 min drive away from beach at sea There are great areas for fishing, both in water and sea. Great hiking area and located at one of the entrances to Stølsheimen. The house is located a stone's throw from the light trail in winter, and therefore fits perfectly in winter as well. Short distance by car and 500 m from E39. No need for your own car!

Cozy little mountain hut with stunning nature

Welcome to my little cozy mountain cabin. Here you can find tranquility in quiet and beautiful surroundings just a small hour away from Bergen city center. The cabin is located right by Storavatnet, a beautiful mountain lake with lots of mountain trout. If fishing is not for you, you can always swim, either in the water or in the natural pools right by the cabin. In winter it is nice to go cross-country skiing here, with nice hikes up to Gleinnefjell, and Stordalen Skisenter/Fjellstove is only 30 minutes away about slalom and good food temps!

Nyrenovert fjellhytte, med strøm og nylig innlagt vann i Masfjorden🏡 Lad batteriene på denne unike og fredlige hyllen oppunder fjellet. Lett tilkomst i nærhet av E39, men likevel i fred og ro med en eventyrlig utsikt over Storevatnet. På sommeren kan en gå turer i fjellet, plukke bær eller en deilig rotur på vannet. Om vintere er det muligheter for skiturer rett utenfor døren, eller 30 minutt med bil til skitrekk i Stordalen. Dette er kort og godt plassen for sjelefred og ro

Mini cabin in the middle of nature

Opplev det enkle og fredelige hyttelivet midt i nydelig vestlandsnatur. Omgitt av fjell, elver, vann og skog ligger denne lille hytten tibaketrukket til. Her får du virkelig følelsen av å være midt i naturen. Området byr på fine turmuligheter både mot Stølsheimen og Matrefjellene. For klatrere ligger det flotte feltet for buldring i Matre en 5 minutt kjøretur unna, og en flott storvegg er like ved hytten. Hytten har også sin helt egen buldrestein et par minutters rusletur unna.

Slapp av på dette fredelige stedet. Her vil en trives enten alene eller med venner eller familie. Nært fiskevann og nydelige turer i fjellet. Nærhet til E-39 passer dette stedet for gjennomreisende, og ypperlig for en lengre periode for å nyte vill og rå natur med fjell og fiskevann. Parkering like ved hytta når det Ikkje er snø. Ved snø parkerer en ca 300 meter unna på avtalt sted. En kan sjekke webkamera hos statens vegvesen og søk kringla for å se føret an.n

The house is located in a tiny village called Sundsbø - 1 hour by car from Bergen. Supermarkets (open Mon-Sat 7am-11pm) and other shops just 5km from the house.

Want to be close to fishing (both fjord and river) or hike in the mountains? Several hiking tracks are located nearby. The most spectacular is Sleirsfjellet (549 m). The cabin is newly reconstructed and renovated. A boat can be available for an additional cost.

Northern lights or a beautiful starry sky are not uncommon, both can be enjoyed around the fire pit.

Stedet er det perfekte reisemålet for familier eller venner som ønsker å nyte livet bokstavelig talt helt nede i fjæra. Pent opparbeidd område rundt hele hytten og gode solforhold. Privat stor kai og tilgang til robåt inkludert.
