Holiday rentals in Maskall

Overall, this place was very cool! For us it was just a quick stop the night before our flight, but you could definitely stay there and enjoy the pool and property for a few days. It's 5 stars for staying in a cute little bungalow (not 5 stars like a resort. I'm not saying this as a negative just clarifying as I feel there is a difference). Bed was super comfy!! Good restaurants are about a 30 minute drive. The property was wonderful and gated and felt safe, but the overall area where it's located did not seem awesome. You probably aren't walking anywhere from here, but as long as you don't mind the drive then it's fine. The only semi negative thing I noticed upon arrival (I suppose the pictures made it clear and I just didn't take note), was that there is no where to all sit and hang out inside. The kitchen table has 2 chairs. If you have 4 people and wanted to all eat there, 2 would be standing, or sitting on a bed. Michelle was fantastic as far as communication and suggestions!!

This place was incredible. Neal is by far the kindest, most accommodating host I’ve ever had. He greeted us with treats from his wife’s restaurant. Helped us plan activities, and make arrangements. He even took us out on his boat one afternoon. The home is even more beautiful than the pictures portray. A literal paradise. You will not find a better, more beautiful place to stay. The entire home was beautiful, spotless, and had everything you could need. The beds and couches were super comfortable, and plenty of linens, towels and beach towels. Look no further, you need to book this place.

Michelle is a wonderful host. Enjoyed being there and the great service in their restaurant. They are all very friendly. Offered help every time we needed it. Michelle even helped us coordinate our transportation to and from the airport. She even took us on a tour around our guesthouse so we knew landmarks and places to go and see while we were there. Lots of privacy and felt at home. Very safe

This is the only place to consider if you’re staying on the island. It was hands down the nicest we saw. They provided bikes (best way to get around) and we used them multiple times a day! Perfect location, very private and peaceful, yet only a quick walk/bike to restaurants, beaches, grocery stores, bars…Zen was our local contact and she picked us up from the local airport and drove us to the location in her golf cart - only vehicles allowed on the island aside from trash removal (so nice!). We utilized the washer/dryer multiple times and it helped us pack light. Sunset from the pool / your private dock every night was incredible. Just book this place - you won’t regret it!

This place is amazing! Everyone there was so kind, welcoming, attentive, and just wanted to make sure we had everything we needed and were happy. The pool is super fun in the middle of everything, cabanas were gorgeous, drinks were amazing, the taco bar menu was SO amazing… I’m going to miss the tacos! I would definitely recommend PUR to anyone coming to San Pedro. They do open their pool to anyone who is at the bar so it can be busy at times and loud music till 10pm so if you are looking for science it’s not your place, but if you are looking for a social fun experience, this is perfect!! Can’t wait to return!!!

Louise was so sweet. She welcomed us and gave us good recommendations about where to go and what to do. She always made sure that we had all that we needed. Beautiful, private and well maintained property. A big plus was the bikes available for free. We could visit the island easily. Looking forward to coming back!

Blu Zen was amazing! Erica, Mark and Sudy made us feel right at home, answered all our questions and helped arrange transportation. The three pools were perfect, peaceful and clean, the condo spotless and beautiful. It was fun biking, hammocking, kayaking and being a short boat trip away from the southside. One highlight; Mark from the Blu Zen Sales Team came to our condo to cook a true Belizean meal for us, it was fantastic and a wonderful dining experience. We had the fish we caught, stewed chicken, beans and rice and bread pudding, so good! We also enjoyed dinner at the Happy Lobster (order the specials), The Lotus (onsite) and Elbas. We went on two excursions, full day snorkeling (Caveman) and spear fishing (Spear Shack) the water in Belize is so clear and the coral and creatures abundant. I would recommend the Blu Zen to anyone who wants to relax and slow down. The grounds, views and sunsets were amazing. One negative - the kitchen did not have any spices or dish soap.

Guillermo is a very friendly and welcoming host. We felt right at home in a comfortable room. The area is quiet and a relatively short walk to some great restaurants. Short cab ride to downtown and the water taxi to Cayes. Would recommend!
