The Lake House was an incredible place to spend some quality time with my kids. Debbie was a great host and the house was extremely clean, comfortable, and very well-stocked. The use of the rowboat, kayaks, fishing equipment, and life jackets was much appreciated. Debbie was always prompt to respond. We got lucky and had amazing weather the first two days. We loved being on the water and even saw a bald eagle snatch a fish right out of the lake. I would love to make a stay at The Lake House an annual trip; it was that good!

Cabin was lovely and well-appointed. Had a very spacious bathroom which is often not the case for these smaller cabins. Furniture was comfy and in a good arrangement. Instructions were clear. Can be tricky to find in the dark, but host lit up the cabin so nicely that as soon as we turned the last corner, we saw it. Will seek it out again.

Ostrich Nest was a great getaway! Very peaceful and quiet. The house was well stocked with pretty much everything you would need (even a knife sharpener in the kitchen) which is great since you’re on an island. Would highly recommend this rental if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway on the water.

This home is a must.....I’m already planning to book again! The stay and views were amazing at this peaceful waterfront home. One of the highlights was how quiet and serene it was, which made it perfect for my relaxing birthday weekend getaway. Sitting out on the deck, watching birds and seals, was such a cool experience. We loved having direct access to the water at low tide, just walk right down the stairs! It’s also a great spot to launch kayaks or paddle boards, but be cautious of oyster shells during low tide. The home is dog-friendly, which was a huge plus for me. My two golden retrievers had the best time playing in the water and lounging on the deck. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay with a great view, this is the place. Bonus tip: If you like a good sandwich, try the prime rib dip at the Union Country Store, it was amazing!

We had such a lovely stay here over the Easter weekend – it was everything we hoped for and more! The house is clean, beautifully kept, and the views? Absolutely breathtaking. It’s one of those rare places that feels even better in person than in the pictures. It had everything we could possibly need – and then some. The hosts were simply wonderful – super friendly, accommodating, and just really easy to talk to. They made the whole experience feel warm and personal, not distant or transactional in any way. They even let us check in early and check out late, which made a huge difference for us with kids. Our days were filled with beach walks, seafood harvesting adventures, backyard chill time, and gorgeous sunsets. It felt like a perfect little reset from our busy lives. We were also celebrating our daughter’s 4th birthday during the stay, and she had an absolute blast. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you Dale & Carol.

The lodge was perfect for our group of adults and kids. We cooked dinner every night in their chef kitchen and took advantage of the large dining table . The kayak, canoe and paddleboard at the dock were perfect and we loved exploring the hiking trails. Visiting the ancient forest was well worth the hour drive, thanks for the recommendation Shawn!

This place was great! Kids were fully entertained the entire time! We played on the beach, swam in the pool, made smores, and read ghost stories. It was perfect!

What a great stay at Jeffrey’s place! The check-in was smooth, and the space was huge (so much more than I was even expecting). The amenities looked inviting, and the condo has everything for cooking and keeping things tidy. I would recommend the Fred Meyer in nearby Shelton for groceries and anything fresh you might want, it seems more accessible than supermarkets in Belfair. The spot was extremely private and peaceful, and having our own walking space and beach for the resort was a really convenient touch. Thanks again for a lovely visit!

Absolutely look forward to staying here again. Wonderful kitchen to cook family meals. Large table and roomy family room with incredible view of MT Rainier while you eat and socialize. The communication was outstanding with the local host.

We absolutely loved our short time here! The home is exactly as described, one of the cleanest Airbnbs I've stayed in, and has an unbelievable view. We saw a family orcas, porpoises, and a seal from the deck! Rose is very responsive and sent all information we needed to use and access the home and amenities! The community hall is also terrific and a great place to meet other visitors/residents of the island. We will definitely be coming back! :)

Wonderful stay. Beautiful surroundings and very cozy and comfortable house and furnishings. Really nice to have a hot tub right there with a view! Great for a big family or small group. Kitchen was very well supplied. Lots to do right around the property. Hosts had everything very organized and easy to follow. Would 100% stay again!

What more could you ask for, with a place by the lake. Propane gas ready for cooking on the grill, a nice seated area overlooking the lake. And big window outside of each room for good views. Very comfortable, very easy living, by the lake.

we had a lovely time at Marilee and Gary's lakefront cabin. we were able to see otters swimming in the waters, and we got to learn a lot about the region. would highly recommend!

We just loved being so near the water - it was so relaxing and everything was so well equipped from the kitchen to the BBQ. It made cooking very easy. The cottage is incredibly clean felt like home instantly. Thanks Kerry for a incredible few days!

This place was so beautiful and spacious. We absolutely loved the property and all the beautiful wildlife we saw. We had a bald eagle flying around a lot. He even landed on the dock, so we got an up close video of him, which was so cool. We also got to see the end of a rainbow touching the ground, and that was super cool. The location was far from what we chose to do, but this place was well worth us driving the extra miles. If I come back, I would definitely pick this place again! It’s a must if you are looking for a peaceful family getaway! Our family really enjoyed the beautiful views, open windows, spacious patio, kayaks and wildlife. The property was very clean, with clear and detailed instructions. Definitely returning for a longer stay!

Quite a wonderful home in a lovely setting. So peacefully quiet. Wonderful places to sit and enjoy the views.

The Beach House is absolutely magical. We went as a multi-generational family, and there was ample space for all of us. We had two small children (3 and 4) and the entire space felt very safe for them to run around and play in. The views of the water are spectacular; whether you are inside the house, or out on any of the multiple outdoor spaces in the back yard. We also used the kayaks on the property, and had a great time on the water. Each day of our stay we cooked our food in the well-equipped kitchen. Each of the rooms were beautifully decorated and have comfortable furnishings. My husband was most impressed with the thoughtful placement of the phone chargers throughout the house. Randy has anticipated his guests and their needs; providing a true home away from home! I would recommend The Beach House for anyone, but especially for those who want either peaceful relaxation or fun adventures!!

We’ve stayed in a lot of AirBnBs over the years (in Asia, Europe and here in America) as a military family. Only a few really stand out in our minds and I have no doubt that this lake house will be one we always remember. When we were inside, we felt completely at home, as if we were enjoying a relaxing week at an aunt’s cabin or something. When we were outside- and we often were- we felt completely at peace. The location can’t be beat and the kayaks and paddleboards provided us hours of relaxation. This was exactly the break we needed between duty stations and we’re so very grateful. Amazing home, kind and responsive host, gorgeous surroundings (we saw deer, ducklings, a river otter and even an eagle). This is a rental we truly hope to return to in the future.
