Part of a former wine producing farm built over 300 years ago, Le Petit Chaudenas features a beautiful, large swimming pool and is set in over 5 Hectares of private garden and woodlands. Located in the tiny hamlet of Toury in the Mâconnais region with its famous Appellations Villages: Pouilly-Fuissé, Saint-Véran, Viré-Clessé, the area is ideal for wine tasting as well as being only 10 mins drive from Cormatin, the community of Taizé and the historical town of Cluny.

Our cottage was partly renovated by us to make it a welcoming and relaxing place. This old barn where my grandfather and then my dad pressed the grapes, from this time there remains the screw of the press which proudly stands in the center of the living room. The cottage Le cocoon welcomes you in a small traditional house on two levels. The main room with its old terracotta tile, includes an equipped kitchen, a dining area, a lounge area in front of the wood stove, a 90 cm bed. Taizé is a municipality known for its place of worship and its tourist region, notably Cluny, 7 km away. This peaceful accommodation offers a relaxing stay for the whole family. A 50 m2 house with two bedrooms in a row will be enough to satisfy you. A beautiful exterior with swing, slide, ping pong table and shaded area to eat in the summer. Come and discover the charm of Southern Burgundy, in Igé. Our studio, completely separate from our home, with a private terrace, will ensure tranquility and comfort during your stay. Parking is available in our private courtyard, a remote control to open the gate is provided. Our house is 15 minutes from the highway, Mâcon, 15 minutes from Cluny, 20 minutes from Roche de Solutré. Near Cluny (6km) and Taizé (9km), 25 minutes from Macon, 22 minutes from the motorway at Macon and my preferred route if you travel from the North is the D981 through Buxy and Cormatin, the wine route which is magnificent, particularly in October, a sea of gold.
