Wow, wow, wow! Miquel, owner and Ana Rita, our host, were both amazing. Miquel was warm and informative. Ana Rita went out of her way on multiple occasions to make us feel welcome and nurtured, always with a big smile. Our small villa was beautiful inside and out, with river views. The accommodation almost seemed new; clean, cozy, great vibes. 15 minutes to the train station takes you into Porto or the country.

From the moment we walked in, we knew this place was something special. It has that rare, magical feeling where everything just feels right. The space was stunning—beautifully kept, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly peaceful. But the real showstopper? The views. Absolutely spectacular in every direction. We spent hours just soaking it all in. The pool was perfect—clean, refreshing, and surrounded by scenery that made it feel like our own private paradise. Every moment here felt relaxing and memorable. What really made the stay extra special was Paulo and his wonderful family. They were warm, welcoming, and always available if we had questions. They also gave us amazing local recommendations, especially for restaurants—we had some of our best meals thanks to their tips! On our trip to Portugal, the Douro Valley was the highlight of the trip from the storybook views to the spread of freshly picked cherries, homemade preserves and wine awaiting our arrival to the cleanliness and comforts of a beautiful home perched high up on the vineyard terraced hills. The game room was an incredible surprise - there are seven eighties arcade games along with a ping pong table, a foosball table and an infinity game with over 150 board games built into the table. The hospitality was second to none. Gabrella, the property manager, was one step ahead of us ensuring that we had everything we needed to make our stays one of the most memorable. Sephi, the owner, is one of the most generous people we have ever met. His passion for region and willingness to offer his time to you is amazing. We spent one morning touring his winery, learning the old way of making wine and enjoying the fruits of his labor – an extraordinary experience not a just another Air BnB.

The most fantastic stay, we will definitely be back! The location and accommodation was even better than the photos and the host and staff were so friendly and approachable. The views from the entire place were fantastic. A very private and peaceful stay, and the breakfast baskets were very generous, full of fresh fruit, bread etc. We did a wine tasting on the vineyard and it was so reasonably priced and great wine. There was also a lovely peacock and cat that roamed the vineyard and came to say hello on occasion. Both pools were fantastic! Thank you for a really memorable holiday 🥰.

One of the highlights was dinner prepared by Jet and Ronald. I highly recommend this as part of the experience. We shared an amazing meal with other guests, and there was a lot of info from Ron about the local wines from the region. I missed out on Jet’s breakfast, but heard amazing things from the other guests in another studio at the property. Great place and great people.

This cabin is an amazing place to stay if you’re in this regio for wine tourism, hiking in the Parque Natural do Alvão or just for relaxing. Cecilia is a very friendly and helpful host who will have an answer to any question.

Maria and her nephew are a great team for communication and check in. Maria was so kind to my family. The apartment is great, super clean and comfortable. Gorgeous views of the river from a nice terrace. The dryer was very handy. Best breakfast!

We had a great stay at the place. Our little baby (6m) felt comfortable and we were provided with a baby bed. You have to note that you need a car for everything and nice restaurants are about 15 minutes away (simple eateries are also 10 minutes away). In particular, with a baby, there are not many shady places and walkways directly at the accommodation.
