Loved my stay at Markay’s place, very friendly and helpful host. Location was pwrfect, felt very safe and at home there. As a solo female sometimes I worry staying alone with a male host but Markay was extremely respectful and kind and I felt like family. Would definitely recommend, thanks 🙏

Lovely apartment in a great, walkable Maputo neighborhood. Building is from colonial era, and the space is well care for with beautiful parquet flooring. On a Monday night, area was very quiet and peaceful. Many restaurants and shops in the immediately vicinity. Elsa was very communicative and flexible with our last minute travel changes.

Elisabeth's house is beautiful, the room is very spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. In addition, the description of the space was very accurate and we liked it much more than the photos, the most special part was the reception. Elisabeth was super kind, dear and attentive. The treatment we received was truly incredible, something I've never experienced anywhere else. If I return to Maputo, I will definitely return to stay in this wonderful house. I highly recommend it

I had a great stay at Oryx Boutique Hotel, The rooms were specious and very clean, the beds were extra comfortable, the hotel provided a comfortable and relaxing environment. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always ready to help. Excellent service all around. Highly recommended!

Really wonderful stay with a very kind host. Breakfast was a beautiful experience each day - it was my favorite part of my stay in Maputo. Delicious food and strong coffee in a beautiful garden. Tinie could not have been kinder or more delightful as a host from helping me with a luggage mishap to dropping me at the airport. If I’m ever back in Maputo I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Buddy and Diana are very very nice persons. Diana helped us very much with a taxi to get from the airport to the house. Buddy suggested us very good place where to eat local food. They respond very quickly to messages, which is very important when there is an urgent question ( like we had with a taxi ). Apartment is very big and nice with a huge living room with TV ( connected to the Internet ) and 2 spacious bedrooms. There are 2 separate beds in one bedroom which is very convient if you need your own bed. There are 2 cafes on the ground floor of the building where you can eat good meal for a good price. One pharmacy and a grocery store in the next building which is very convenient. There are also street salers of local fruits ( mango, papaya etc ) juste in front of the building so you can eat these fruits ( very cheap ) every day. Apartment is located on a main street where you can always find moto-taxi to go to the center which is not far away and you can also walk.

i booked the space for my husband and his review is that the place is Clean and spacious for a studio. Located conveniently in a good & safe neighborhood. It is walking distance to every amenity that you will need. The host is also very responsive and is available should you need anything.
