Holiday rentals with a fire pit in McKinleyville

Had a wonderful time , didn't spend much time in the location due to my daughter graduating. But the presuer of the shower amazing love love it.

Clean, well organized home close to the plaza. Great base for activities in Arcata. We had a great time.

This is one of the best Airbnbs that I’ve stayed at. From the moment we walked in, the house felt cozy and inviting. Steve went above and beyond with a gift basket, local recommendations and a lovely home. The little touches meant the world to us. The location can’t be beat. We loved our morning walks along the beautiful redwoods. We enjoyed oysters and wine at Humboldt Provisions, breakfast at Golden Harvest Cafe (their blueberry muffin latte is a must), a trip to Samoa, the Sequoia Park Zoo and Babe’s Pizza. Absolutely lovely stay amongst the beautiful redwoods! House has everything one can need for an extended vacation. Extremely comfortable home in a safe neighborhood close to everything. Amber is an excellent host who is available for any concerns.

Our family had a wonderful 3 night stay here! It was the perfect home base for exploring the surrounding Redwood parks and beaches! The hosts provided a pack n play and high chair too which was perfect for our toddler!

This was our first vacation since having our baby two years ago and I am glad we picked Rob’s place in Arcata. The check-in process was seamless with timely communication with Rob. The place was spotless and beautifully appointed in a quiet and cozy setting. The kitchen had all the equipment needed for a nice home cooked meal. The private outdoor space was perfect for our two dogs. The location was five minutes from downtown Arcata and 11 minutes from the beach. My family felt like this was a tonic for the soul. I would highly recommend this place and plan to book again for next year.

We had a great time and felt right at home. There were many amenities that made our stay comfortable. local coffee and a bottle of wine were such a nice touch! would recommend!

Katie and Randy were the best hosts we have ever had probably. They baked us delicious scones and cherry cobblers to welcome us. She gave great recommendations for redwood forest trails. Her place was very lovely, beds were comfortable, comes with everything you need. We will definitely come back again!!

We wanted something in walking distance to the Arcata square and Cal Poly. Try the restaurant Salt in the square and Cafe Brio! Yum 😋

Daniela was such an incredible host. She found that we had left a few items behind by mistake and was so conscientious to message me so we could meet up and she brought them to us! She was absolutely lovely communicating with us, incredible to meet her in person, and we are so happy and look forward to staying there again. Our daughter was previewing Cal Poly Humboldt and I hope she attends beginning this fall, so we can return! The unit was so peaceful and it felt as though you had the forest to yourself just off your patio. 4 young doe greeted us in the morning. It was incredible!

This was a great place to stay, tucked back away from the street and peaceful with a surrounding garden, within walking distance (two blocks) from the plaza and all the fun things the small, walkable town of Arcata has to offer.

Carl is a fantastic host. His cabin is cozy, comfortable, and has everything you need as a home base for exploring the beautiful North Coast. The cabin is surrounded by redwood trees and is very private. We'll be back again for sure!

It was very clean and looked just as advertised. Beautiful place, very quiet and peaceful. Very easy to find. Great parking right next to the cabin. Sue-meg state park close by, walkable. I will definitely stay here again.

Plenty of things to do in Eureka. I initially was worried about that. the cabin was secluded and very peaceful, and GPS took us right to the door. Owner was responsive and proactive with communication. Would definitely go again!

Loved this little cabin. Very clean and organized. The tea and coffee gave it that extra caring touch we needed from a long road trip. The area is so peaceful and very family friendly. Will definitely be visiting and staying here again.

The cabin was beautiful, comfortable & nicely furnished. The yard, hot tub, upstairs & downstairs deck/patio areas were wonderful. I loved seeing a variety of wildlife. I also liked the privacy aspect, being at the end of a long, separate driveway in a quiet area. A very peaceful & pleasant stay, with a cute little park nearby. My family and I absolutely LOVED our stay in one of the adorable cabins on-site. It served as the perfect launching point for us to explore the nearby Redwoods during the daytime and then relax at our home away from home in the evenings. The cabin was equipped with all the essentials we needed to take quick warm showers, enjoy home-cooked meals, and relax with a family movie after dips in the community hot tub. We also liked exploring the property grounds and appreciated the little store for odds and ends too. We would absolutely recommend this stop for anyone looking for a peaceful oasis near the ocean and the Redwoods. Also, bonus, we got to see and hear sea lions sun bathing on the rocks just across from the property on our drive in. PERFECT welcome! We hope to visit again sometime soon!

This place is so cute and cozy and right next to Sue-Meg State Park! We loved our stay in the clean, cozy cabin on the coast. They had everything we needed and more! It was the perfect stopover on our way to Redwoods National Park!
