Riad holiday rentals in Medina

Our first time in Marrakech and I’m so glad it was in this beautiful Riad! From the airport pick‑up to help with our departure arrangements, everything was seamless and welcoming. The location is ideal — right in the heart of the Medina — making it easy to explore. Abdou’s cooking was absolutely incredible, true comfort food that felt like a home‑cooked meal. After a hot day exploring the markets, it was such a treat to come back and cool off in the pool. No complaints at all — we’d return again in a heartbeat. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!

Rachid’s place is a beautiful calm oasis in the heart of the Medina. Fantastic interior design touches and lush planting frame a heated plunge pool on the ground floor where you can relax over a cold drink with the sounds of running water and bird song. We ate on the rooftop terrace some evenings - there is a handy kitchenette up there with a sink and fridge and sun loungers. The showers have good pressure and the beds are super comfy. Do not hesitate to book this excellent place. You won’t regret it. Thanks also to host Mohammed for meeting and orientating us when we arrived and arranging transport to the airport when we left. It was our first time in Marrakech, and also in North Africa, so it was nice that Khalid arranged for our airport pick-up, and also met us to show us to and around his place. The Riad is in a quieter part of the Medina, which was nice to escape back to with our son, after exciting days in the main square and souks, but there are local amenities and restaurants locally. The Riad itself is very spacious and authentic feeling, and we especially enjoyed the roof terrace with its amazing views. Khalid was responsive and helpful throughout our time in Marrakech, and we would definitely recommend staying there.

We had a fantastic time. It is as beautiful as in the photos and you could spend whole evenings relaxing there. There were only four of us and we weren't sure if the whole building was really for us. Ibtissam was super nice and prepared a delicious breakfast for us and even got me several Aker Fassi so I didn't have to haggle. You fight a few mosquitoes at night because the doors are not completely airtight. But from the second night we had no more problems and the mosquitoes are slow. A little tip: there are 2 ways to get to the Riad on Maps. You have to choose the second route, where the Riad Christina is also nearby. (If people want to show you the way, they expect money for it.) Instead of shampoo, we had shower gel in the bathroom. Everything was very clean and just really nice and we would come back!

Regina's Dar is a wonderful place to explore Marrakech. The house is ideally located for this, very close to all the important attractions and yet completely quiet. Jamaa El Fna is just a 10-minute walk away. The Dar itself is very tastefully decorated and contains everything you need to enjoy yourself. The beautiful pool and roof terrace invite you to enjoy carefree and exude a feeling of luxury. Exactly what you appreciate after a long day in the souks. The entire apartment is sparkling clean and in excellent condition. Regina and Khadija, who are always ready to help with advice, action and information when needed, ensure this. Although Regina was not on site, she always responded within a very short time. Khadija's breakfast was sensational and always freshly prepared. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest and recommend this Dar with full conviction. Thank you for your generous hospitality.

An amazing Riad. The staff couldn’t do enough for you. They were incredibly welcoming and attentive and did everything they could to ensure we had a great stay. Some areas of the Medina were quite confronting for our group as we copped abuse just for being there however this is not a reflection of the property it’s more an awareness to be respectful and not stand out.

We had a wonderful stay at the riad. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Fatima was incredibly helpful and welcoming — always willing to assist with anything we needed. Her kindness and cooking made our stay even more enjoyable.

The Riad is charming. It's in an old house but has everything you need and is a quite place in the middle of the hustling medina. Check-in and check-out were went smooth.

Beautiful Riad! Julia and Hanae were very helpful answering any questions we had. Hanae’s breakfasts were delicious! Our kids looked forward to seeing her every morning! What a wonderful experience! Highly recommend!

A fantastic stay from start to finish. Adriano was a very accommodating host with a Moroccan breakfast prepared daily at the agreed upon time. Bathrooms and linens were immaculate. Riad design was very warm and inviting. Would definitely stay here again.

The girls and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful riad! It’s tastefully furnished with a calm, stylish vibe that made us feel right at home. The host and his team,especially Amal, were kind, responsive, and flexible. We had a last-minute addition to our group, which they graciously accommodated, and I was also able to check out a bit late since no guests were arriving- much appreciated! We chose to have breakfast at the riad each day and really enjoyed it, the orange juice was truly out of this world. My only piece of constructive feedback would be to consider a slightly softer mattress in the Nina Simone room, though I know some guests may prefer a firm one. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our time and would absolutely stay here again. It’ll be my first choice when I return to Marrakech!

We had a wonderful stay. The riad was perfect for our family, an oasis in Marrakesh. Fatimzara & Simo were lovely to meet and very helpful. The food was beautiful and they were so responsive if we needed anything. The location is perfect as we were near everything but it was lovely to have a cool dip in the plunge pool at the end of the day. Thank you!

The riad is in a great location, right in the centre, close to the market and all the restaurants but still very quiet inside. Nicely designed and very clean house. Looks like on the pictures. We really had a great time. Thank you

Afifa and Aziz were absolutely amazing and the Airbnb was stunning. Aziz was proactively reaching out to us in the days leading up to the trip making sure that we had everything in place. He coordinated a very nice van to pick us up from the airport for a very reasonable price, and the same driver (with Aziz) were there to pick us up and bring us back to the airport at 730am on the day we left. Aziz took the time to provide us with traditional tea and cookies as soon as we got to the the Airbnb and walked us through the property as well as recommendations near by. The Airbnb itself was exactly as described. A very beautiful space overall, and felt very secure once you were locked in. This is in the heart of the Medina, but still felt extremely safe and comfortable with very little outside noise once inside. Wish I had more space to write more about the experience - but 10 / 10 would recommend again, and will definitely be trying to book through Afifa and Aziz in the future.

A haven of peace in the heart of the bustle, nestled at the end of a tiny cul-de-sac. It is a chic and elegant cocoon on several levels, with two very nice bedrooms, simple and very nicely decorated. The rooftop is very welcoming with its garden furniture, sun loungers and lounge chairs. And what about the pool and its delicious water after a walk in the overheated streets of Marrakech... A real treat... essential! Samad welcomed us very warmly and was always available to answer my questions. We really enjoyed the dinner prepared by Malika as well as her breakfasts. And finally, Brigitte, our host, answered my questions before and during the stay with great responsiveness and courtesy. She even allowed us to stay longer to wait for our late departure time. A big thank you for this short and wonderful stay.

We had an absolutely perfect stay at this Airbnb! The location is ideal: close to shops, restaurants and the main attractions, while remaining quiet for resting. The accommodation is impeccable: very clean, nicely decorated, comfortable and perfectly equipped. It immediately feels like a home away from home. Every detail is thought out for guest comfort. But what really makes the difference is the exceptional service offered. A very special mention for the housekeeper, who is very attentive from the beginning to the end of the stay. Always available, attentive and very kind, she anticipates needs and ensures that everything goes well. I highly recommend this place, a real gem!

I don’t know where to begin because this was the most amazing stay not only because of the building itself, but also the details that Fred has put into this home and all of the touches that he has incorporated to make every guest feel special and connected to the Moroccan way of life. If you are considering this Riad don’t waste your time looking elsewhere you will be so grateful that you chose Fred‘s property.

Sheila’s was excellent, and the concierge, Mouad, with the rest of the team, was kind, proactive and helpful. If I am in the Medina next time soon, I shall endeavour to stay at Riad Bliss again.

Khalil was an exceptional host who went above and beyond—even during a personal religious holiday. He picked us up from the airport, made sure we had food before arriving, and surprised us with a beautifully decorated birthday breakfast. Each morning began with a fresh, hot, nutritious meal, and the staff was always attentive and kind. Requests for the hammam or hot tub were met promptly, and when the usual masseuse was unavailable due to holiday, Khalil personally arranged for another to come to the property. Dar Elma is stunning—immaculately clean, architecturally beautiful, and filled with thoughtful touches (including thick robes, house shoes, & each room is a master suite with its own bathroom with state-of-the-art digital showers). We felt safe, cared for, and truly welcomed the entire time. Highly recommend for the hospitality, amazing amenities, and overall unforgettable experience.

It was a perfect stay at Oualid's, who welcomed us very well and was there as soon as we needed him. The riad looks just like the photos. It is a charming and very peaceful place. We highly recommend this host and this riad!

The location is very good and we were very comfortable. The breakfast was also very nice. To improve, the water pressure of the shower and put more pillows on the beds.
