We loved our stay at Johanne’s place. The apartment itself was very chic and cozy and was outfitted with everything we need. We especially loved: - the dock and outdoor furniture - the rowboat to explore the surrounding area and take advantage of our long nights - the very helpful instructions and recs from our hosts - the truly incredible Thai takeaway restaurant literally next door Take note that the spot is pretty close to a main roadway so you will hear cars passing by at a distance. Overall though, the space and hosts were amazing and we’d definitely come back!

Quite possibly one of the best hoilday rentals we have ever used, would highly recommend it. We loved being able to use the boat and the local environment.

Definitely one of my most beautiful rented homes on Airbnb. The house is decorated with care, feet in the water, calm, kindness of Torstein and Ida. We are the opposite of the anonymous key boxes that are multiplying everywhere. I would recommend it 100%

Old house with the character of Bergen. Great location, easy walking into centre and restaurants. Good parking for car, all amenities in house you’ll need. Hosts very responsive and helpful. Can highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Eve's beautiful house! The property was clean and offered breathtaking views that made every morning special. Eve was an excellent host with fantastic communication throughout our stay, providing helpful tips about the local area that really enhanced our experience. The location is truly exceptional, with countless options for activities and places to explore nearby. The highlight of our trip was spotting small whales during breakfast - what an incredible and unexpected treat! The house itself is great and perfectly situated to take advantage of both the scenic surroundings and all the region has to offer. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Very nice house with a great location, we had a great time despite the heavy rain. The house has a beautiful view of the sea and the hot tub was an absolute highlight even in the rain. We also took several short hikes in the area and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Thank you for the time

What a fabulous central location. Apartment exactly as described…really comfortable and cosy. We slept really well. Good WiFi and well stocked with books & games. We mostly ate out but kitchen is well stocked. We would absolutely stay here again.

We loved staying here! Its such a cute place and the street is so charming and beautiful, feels very private but is also walkable. The interior is very nicely furnished and designed and made for a very cozy place to rest and enjoy looking out the windows at the surrounding rooftops. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing stay! This Airbnb is gorgeous. It's such a treat to get home to after a day of exploring. Very clean and lots of amenities (I.e., washer/dryer, blow dryer, kitchen supplies). The location is also great! It's in a central location that makes it easily walkable to many desirable attractions in Bergen. There is a grocery store beside the unit and restaurants within walking distance. 10 min walk from main transit line to airport. Such a wonderful stay!

A lovely and well equipped apartment to come home to after a day exploring the area and Bergen. The cute cups and vases with flowers, so thoughtful! We felt very much at home; the kitchen is able to cook very fully and nicely. Thank you Anders and Anne for hospitality!

excellent value for money. all you need is there. very clean and nice interior styling. Central base for walks and trails in the area. very kind and responsive host. highly recommended.

Ok: if you're into resting & doing some work at a peaceful location then this is it! Cozy, warm, everything works. (If you're there to have a party, then stay far far away from it - the place is calm and peaceful and doesn't need you turning on your lousy, cheap JBL and howling towards the mountains "how amazing you are for existing" ) Anyhow :D , it's one of the pearls of planet: no tourism - just natural beauty and being. If you haven't had a farm-/summerhouse, you might be a bit "stuck up", how everything isn't entirely spot clean or new, but for humans, it's a sincere, cozy place that has been treated with respect - and you should too ! ;) I'll bring my stingy attitude (because I really enjoyed it and wish it lasted for decades) a bit more down and say: go and have a great time! It's a real experience (especially if you're from a flat land)! :)

We had a great stay despite the rain, the house was lovely and cosy. The boys loved being near the fjord and beach. The sauna unexpected extra. Sverre was easy to contact and friendly. The whole experience was super laidback. Thank goodness the sun came out for our last couple of days.

Very nice old little house in rural surroundings. Well-equipped kitchen, comfortable and new bathroom. Listen between rooms/floors. Nice garden and patio. Very clean and tidy.

Johanne's house is very nicely decorated and equipped with everything you need. Everything was clean and well maintained. We had maps of the region on site to explore the area. From the accommodation, you can go directly to the sea or to the mountains. We will be happy to come back.
