I cannot say enough good things about this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity we could have needed – and then some. It truly felt like a home away from home. Don was incredibly welcoming, responsive, thoughtful and making sure our stay was comfortable from start to finish. The location was ideal – peaceful and safe, and only 10 minutes from the VT campus. We were there to celebrate our son’s graduation with our family and it was perfect. So much better than staying at a hotel! This was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had, and we would return in a heartbeat. If you’re considering booking a place close to Blacksburg, don’t hesitate – it’s an absolute gem!

This place exceeded our expectations. It came with more amenities than I've ever had at a cabin. It was clean, the linens smelled freshly washed, floors and surfaces were clean. Randy and his crew were super helpful and friendly, letting us know where to go to find trails to ride. The store is on site and is stocked with all the things you'll need. Gas is on site as well. I can't say enough good about this place! We will definitely stay again if we plan on coming to this area.

Had a great stay! It felt super comfortable. We had the easiest check in, we’ve ever had on Airbnb which was a plus after a long drive. The rooms/beds were comfortable and spacious. The washer & dryer was great along with the hot tub. It was super easy to come and go with the check in. There is 1 place that’s mainly a bar with food & that’s about it for food nearby. i’d say that’s the only con but given the area of wv it’s understandable just buy groceries! had a great stay, would come again.

This place is great for a large group it has everything we you could possibly need and a few extras! Definitely worth the price! close to some outlaw trails and spearhead. Andrew quickly responded every time I would message super friendly! Definitely booking again next time we’re back !

Host was easy to work with and responsive. If you are looking for a place to stay to ride the HMT, this is it. Well set up house, wash station, plenty of parking for trailers, easy access to almost all of the trail systems and access to the Outlaw trails. And a pool to relax in after a day riding! This will be our go to place for HMT trips!

Great location and the pool and fire pit were the perfect amenities to end a day of riding! The host was very responsive and made planning our trip, getting trail passes, check in, and check out seamless. We couldn’t find any extra supplies at the house (ie paper towels, trash bags, etc.) so recommend bringing some of the day to day basics with you. Would definitely recommend to others!

We loved that they had the fridge nice and full of water the snacks and coffee they had it’s a very clean house very organized and very clear on all instructions on the house rules we will definitely be back to this cozy home thank you very much!!

Terry's Resting Place is EXQUISITE!! It is freshly remodeled and not a single detail has been missed. It is beautifully and very tastefully decorated. The house has everything that is needed, and it is located in a tranquil place. The beds were very comfortable. All of the appliances are new. The Resting Place exceeded our expectations and needs in every regard. We're looking forward to a return trip.

The location was great to stay at. The location had very large parking, a nice covered area for cars/machines. The house was very clean, well organized, tons of space and the host Ronald was very helpful and very responsive throught our stay and even weeks prior! We stayed to enjoy the hatfield trails and surrounding trail systems. Ronald sent a map of trails and point of intrestes for our stay. The area is very quiet and we absolutely enjoyed the place!

The house was cute and comfortable and had everything we needed. It's an old house which adds to the charm in my opinion. The hosts left treats which was a nice touch. I traveled with another adult and two small children, and it worked out fine, I just wished there were curtains in the bedroom with twin beds. The location was convenient for our needs, but the roads are quite steep if you're not used to driving in that area. Be aware that the only bathroom is on the second floor. Kim was very responsive too. Overall, we were happy with our stay and would recommend Kim's place.

Great place. Recently remodeled and very modern. Close to HMT about a 20 minute ride to Pocahontas Trail 10. Nice patio with fire pit and BBQ grill. Covered area for seating. Two car detached garage to keep your machines in. Great communications!

Perfect. The side gate where we could pull our sxs into and pressure wash was the cherry on top.

Very clean spacious home, accommodated all of us. Everything we need was there. Very modern upscale home. We enjoyed our time. will definitely stay again. Strongly recommend

It’s like I was staying at my grandma’s house. If you want a hotel type place this isn’t for you. But if you want to feel like you’re staying with family, this is absolutely it. We didn’t use the two pull out loveseats but, had my grandkids not brought their lil sleeping tents they would’ve been very handy. There were plenty of blankets but we didn’t need them because the climate control was more than adequate to keep everyone comfortable. The kitchen was more than stocked. The whole place, from the pictures on the walls to the novelty coffee cups that filled the cabinets to the encyclopedias from the 70s, seemed as if my grandmother had let me use her house while she was out of town. My grand babies usually take some time to get used to the air bnbs I stay in but they thought this was my new house and settled right in. The garage was perfect for them to try out their new roller skates and bike while it was raining. I will check here first every time I visit them from now on.

The place was as described. It is a house that suits a get away to ride ATVs. There may be some issues with neighbor and steady stream of transactions occuring. The house has a garage to lock up ATVs. I definitely would stay again. The host was responsive to a issue we had with WiFi but he cleared the issue right away. I do think the neighbor problem is area wide so we minded our own business and had no problems. Enjoyed the stay. Thank you host.

The Adkins House was awesome! We loved the location. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect cottage tucked away in a beautiful mountain setting. So peaceful and private. The owners being just across the field gave such peace of mind of security. Wonderful host! Beds were so comfortable!! The deer were so pretty to watch as they grazed.

Needed a place for a group of us to stay for work. Was just what we needed. Great space.

Great place, clean and super close to the trails. Ronell is super responsive and I usually had a response within 5-10 minutes. Will definitely stay here again.

Very cozy home in a very convenient location, across from Dollar General and car wash for our utvs. Bice enclosed backyard for our puppies and to grill out back with friends in privacy, we felt very safe for our kids puppies and our vehicles. Amy is great host and very kind. We definitely will be booking her home again.

What an amazing place! We could return and just spend the weekend at the house and enjoy the view and relax. We are already planning our next visit!
